It's the "No matter what" part that astounds and alarms me and so many others. Trump once boasted that he could shoot someone in public and get away with it. (Setting aside that someone who would say such a thing should never hold office) Would you vote for him then? He's more and more openly advocating for fascism, with himself as the head of the one person government. And increasingly, MAGA folks seem OK with that. I actually saw a comment the other day that said, "Goodbye democracy. Trump 2024." - It got lots of likes and a few "Amen"s! And it's the "no matter what" allegiance that fascism requires - no, demands. That is why I'd vote for Biden's ice cream cone before I voted for DJT. If we vote fascism in we'll get exactly what we deserve.

To be honest I am antiTrump not probiden, I lean much more left than either party. I took an interest in trump after jan6 and have followed the politics of america since then. Biden hasn’t done a bad job considering the economy he inherited after the pandemic. Your inflation is high but all the components are in place to reduce that over the next couple of years. The rest of the western world is struggling as much if not more so than the USA. Trump on the other hand is self-centred and dangerous to have in power. But your GOP have backed him humiliatingly and allowed extremist points of view to be looked upon as main stream. Not good for man nor beast. I oppose Trump ethically and morally. This last minute decision making is applicable to irrational voters that vote emotionally during good times. Trump should demand a mute button for the debate moderators since it’s clear the 2 moderators and Biden are opponents and moderators are sure to interrupt Trump . Biden has the questions as well.
