I think she was conscious about not doing too many switch ups cause she’s a master at keeping listeners on their toes and in this case the switch up is NO switch up lol she said she was going for a more in your ear sound and approach

right haha i think talk to me nice still brought that for me and i was beyond content. and yes, after knowing she wanted listeners to fully focus on every song well and that’s why it’s shorter than her previous works, everything made sense - love her

I really liked this album! It’s short though. I hope we get a part 2 or a longer LP late 2024/ early 2025. Treason is such a great opener. And the singles for this album are great.

it is kind of short but it’s supposed to be like that, i was curious too about its length but it’s supposed be a 2 part project with her releasing the follow-up in spring so very soon

Im also a fan of Tinashe and most everything she does. I was shocked when i saw the album was only 7 songs but it is a great short journey. I have had Needs on replay since she dropped it. What really draws me to it is how chill it is. Its a fun song that's really laidback. This might be a bad comparison but what i likes about Freaky Deaky when it dropped was about how chill it was. I think i just love softly spoken songs? Lol Its just a nice have something that gets you hype but your also arw juat listening in bed at night or a nice night drive.
