Juday, ang laki ng space mo. Ang dami mo pang pwedeng itanim dyan. Paghaluin mo po ang mga gulay at mga iilang bulaklak na pantaboy ng mga insekto. Maglagay ka ng maraming tanglad. :)
Hi Ms Juday, plant a lot of marigolds or other flowering plants like lavender, cosmos, in between your vegetables as your insect repellants ( indirectly attracting bees and butterflies that will eat those insects) it will lessen the insects eating your vegetables at the same time those bees and butterflies will cross pollinate your vegetable flowers to produce more fruits. Happy gardening!
Ederlina Fidel wow! Oo nga noh!? Ngayon ko lng naisip yan ang tagal ko n mahilig mgtanim ng plants ang vegetables. Thank you for that wonderful trivia! 👏🏻👏🏻😊

yes, basil dies after it flowers but they produce seeds for new growth from the ground. Cutting the flowers will cause new growth of new leaves which is good for producing more basil leaves.

You are correct. From finegardening.com: Check your basil plants frequently for flowers, and if you see any, pinch them off right away. If the flower stems are too woody to pinch (often the case with Thai basil), cut them off with shears. A plant allowed to flower will soon go to seed, stop growing, and die, so be vigilant about removing flowers.
0:53 Red Insect: "Baka-Baka" tawag ng tatay ko dyan. (Dysdercus cingulatus) or cotton bugs; considered as pests for cotton and okra plants according to online sources
Hahaha.. Nakakatuwa naman yan little farm or garden mo Juday.. Naunahan ka ng mga insects at ulan konti nalang tuloy na harvest mo. Mag tanim ka Juday ng malunggay..! Cute mo dyan..!😘
I love all your videos! You might need to use an organic spray against bugs, mold, mildew and fungus for your plants. I use a mixture of neem oil /peppermint oil spray with worm tea: Recipe: On a 16 ounce bottle, mix 1 tsp or so of neem oil, 8 drops of peppermint oil, some worm tea (Vermistera brand) about a capful, and 1 tsp of dawn dish soap. Mix it up, spray a test spray on a small piece of plant. Wait 48 hours to check if test leaves are okay then spray the rest of the plant. You can adjust the recipe if you need more in order to spray a huge area. Good luck!
Freshly picked herbs and vegies are always the best! My food is always mixed with wild edibles specially on the warmer seasons. Your backyard is amazing!
Ung maliit na red insect twag samin nyan "kukambing". Usually sa okra yan nakikita. Di naman harmful yan. Maganda sa okra once na nmunga, tuloy2 na sya. 😊
