@fitfixx here’s a gym you might find interesting, in Canada there is a goodlife fitness that is built inside an old nightclub, located near pape and Donlands
You noticed how that thin strand could hold up his weight? That's pretty strong. Now imagine the strength of a proper rope. You're pretty safe up there, there's always that one time though.
This recontextualizes the popular "oops I cut the wrong rope" joke in the comments. Instead of it meaning they cut the rope that ends their lives they don't cut the one that saves it
@@climbmoretalkless698Nah, actually, climbing ropes are strong as hell, it's just that they'll gradually get weaker the more you rub them against rocks and sharp surfaces. They will still last quite an amount of time.
Fun fact… well not fun fact…. But A couple went out to bungee jump and the girlfriend was nervous but still went on with her husband. The husband was clipped on first and was given the go to jump off but the girlfriend thought it was her they were letting know too jump and she did little did she know they didn’t clip her on yet (since she is next in line after her husband )so she jumped, she must’ve realized she wasnt strapped in and had a heart attack and died before she hit the ground. Sad stuff
Good point. I'm afraid of rock climbing partly because, what if the rope fails? But this rope was cut 90% and still holding the dude. I guess the fear is without merit.
I would never jump off a cliff facing backwards, I would MAYBE (and that’s pushing it) bungee jump if I was looking when I did it but I would NEVER NEVER EEEEEEVER go backwards
@@somebodyintheworld when people say “hanging by a thread” they aren’t literally suspended by a singular thread, (usually), they’re really close to losing, or in a bad moment in their life.
@hutchjordan470 You forgot your definate article there bud. "English always needs to be THE top priority " Maybe you should go back to elementary school as well.
@@mh20162it takes bravery to get used to it, you cant get used to it if u never do it. And most people wouldnt smile like this dude and not make a single noise
Psychological anticipation, for sure! I’ve gone bungee jumping before, and it was very fun as is, but I think it would be CRAZY fun if one of the attendants did this for us
@@thatidiotoverthere6311you were supposed to say "bro had ONE job" to make the seriousness even more focused on the correct thing, and goodbye and I hoped you learned something new about meme spellings.🎉
We are pretty funny. We miss running from lions out on the plains of Africa trying to survive, so now we have to create our own scary situations. I personally don’t understand it, I don’t even like theme park rides.
@@Roach_Dogg_JR I think it's because of adrenaline some people enjoy fighting and some people do sports for the adrenaline of either winning or fast heart beat and you have a tingling feeling in your heart(not a metaphor) you will feel excited and scared but it will feel kinda good
Ooop we used the wrong rope guyd pill him up Other guy: hes not moving.... Everyone: .... 😢 Me: looks like where in a tangle Everyone: ahahahahah 😂 Where fucked
@@bomboy7 That’d be fine. They clearly only cut 1 rope and if they cut the wrong one, they realise ‘uh oh they aren’t falling’. Besides, they take their time with it. Overall, they’d be fine
