Handled this at Blade Show and pretty much came to the same conclusion as you. I will say tho that the ergos felt incredible in my hand and I thought about buying it for that reason alone. It is well-made and if this design speaks to someone, they’d be happy with it.

I think the knife has more character than your giving credit for. that pocket clip is pretty cool and the grind/bladeShape stuff you pointed out was quite cool as well. But yeah not a must buy.

I'm still not sure how I feel about a Persian blade shape like that. I've been trying to talk myself into buying the much less expensive Artisan Cutlery Arroyo, but I'm just not in love with the shape and can't see a lot of utility in it compared to knives I already own. That being said, whoever was in charge of making that box really nailed it on the foam insert. Schwing! 🍆

It's amazing how many people aggressively ignore the fact that I upload 14 times a week with a total of 2500+ uploads, and have a playlist dedicated to affordable, obtainable knives called "cheap knives I like" with over 130 uploads alone. The total lack of effort is scientifically fascinating. How do these people even find their way home at night?

I love many of the old design details that WE used to have that seem missing lately; they seem so much more conventional and more simple in construction. That said I own and LOVE this knife. I've done a ton of modifications to it which really improved the whole look and feel, but it was pretty great stock.
