I am really REALLY impessed with you American hunters attitudes. Standing and trusting a 3rd person telling you that it was going to be an elephant mock charge really impressed me. Elephants are huge and can be very intimidating.Wow!! You ladies have COURAGE! I remember my first problem animal elephant hunt as a 19 year old ranger in Zimbabwe Parks and Wild Life..and my immediate senior warden in charge was DEFINITELY not as experienced a tutor as your PH! Willem was undoubtebly an incrediblely experienced and competent hunter, but he was not a compassionate teacher as you had! You had an excellent and wise PH. You Americans have really really changed the way I view USA hunters.
As a public representative of hunting I feel a strong obligation to show hunting in the best possible light. Giving anti hunting bodies ammunition for their cause to ban hunting is something I defiantly want to steer clear of. That aside, I also believe that the kill is not the reason we hunt but rather the adventure and love of nature is what brings us a far greater joy. There are plenty programs that relish in slow motion head shots and compilation kills that are not doing us any favours. Great episode, as always, great clients, good buildup with the doves & impala, but anticlimactic finish to the trip not showing the results of the hunt in action. Must have been battery problems on the camaras 🤔 Keep up the good work and more episodes. Best hunting channel going !
What a shame! I always liked the honesty in your videos. Whoever hasn´t experienced a situation, which didn´t go after plan, hasn´t hunted enough, to call himself a hunter! We´ve all seen videos with really lousy shooting, where finally the weight of bullets brought the animal down... I always have deep respect for these hunters! Not for the shooting, but for their strength of character! They decided, to be uprigh, release the footage and to shared their darkest moments with the public. Who does this, has proofen, to be a real man of character and honesty! Andy, at first I was really angry at you! How could you just cut out, what we all have been coming for? With out a word. Nothing has happend. Oooops, a dead Elephant!!! And theny, everything was just sooo beautiful.... WTF??? But than I realized, how solomonic you handled this sitation! You´re a genius! Mean. This is RU-vid and showing the kill shot of an elephant would have gotten this channel a strike towards a site shut down and not to mention all the hate commentators going after the client family on all the social media platforms. Wish Andy would have given an explanation too.
There are plenty of elephant hunts available. It´s not the killing, but the circumstances, that make it a hunt Even if you don´t want to show the shot, you still want to share the story! Unless...

While I agree the chase is exciting, but like so many other things in life there is a beginning, a middle and an end. Not showing the end is incomplete.
The kill shot and placement is so important as a hunter. To make your audience sit through so many commercials of what gear your using and then blackout the shot is a letdown to me. Makes me feel that you’ve caved to the people that aren’t hunters and a bit to tender for what is the goal of any ethical hunter. A quick death of our game. As a women I’m quite disappointed in how you’ve portrayed us as well. She talked about hunting back home so this was not a new concept to her. I’m not a fan of the over excited dizzy girl thing. We are serious hunters and able to take what we are doing seriously. Having fun is very important on all hunts but I was not impressed with The portrayal of women in this field.
