Awgu town didn't impress me. Awgu is an old and important town in Igbo land and played a central role during the Biafra war. I expected it should have grown pass the level I am seeing, if it were to be a place in Anambra , Awgu should be another Nnewi in Igbo land. Since it is the turn of Awgu zone in Enugu to produce the next governor of Enugu State, I guess they will produce a builder who will show genuine interest in Awgu and turn it into another modern city in Enugu State
You are very correct.... I am disappoint in all the Chairmen of Awgu both past and present... Especially this one because he is from Awgu town.. I hope they do better shaa, Awgu deserve better..
I'm highly disappointed seeing Awgu in this state, decades of neglect from various administrations, even when it was under old Anambra, now under Enugu State, same story
But remember that all hands are not equal... Those that have mud house are not less humans... Let focus on building a better Community irrespective of social status.
Umuhu, Obiofia and Onoli would have be a better view than this Awgu zone 1 to Orie market. Well you try sha, but the places i mention here is the real Awgu town.
