I filmed it Christmas Eve day and because of so many technical issues I could not finish it that day and didn't have time to complete it on Christmas. Yes a shot of everything together. I would love to see that. I think that would be a great addition and everyone would live for it. I have thought the same thing when watching any boxy charm unboxing etc. That a shot of everything together at the end give a better idea of the amount even though we watch it one by one.

This advent calendar is basically how I did assignments in high school. Like it technically meets all the requirements and is basically okay, but could actually be good if they put in the effort. Sephora should be so grateful to Chanel for lowering the expectations.

I was a teenager in the 90s and I'm amazed that fabric scrunchies have become a thing again. People wouldn't be seen dead in one of those a few years ago. It's the same with shell suits, cycling shorts and bumbags. It'll be LA Gear and global hypercolour tshirts next.

Thanks for the 90’s flashback!!! I had to beg forever to get the LA Gear jeans & jean jacket that has the shoestrings up the side of the pants & the back of the jacket! It was the greatest thing ever! Don’t forget that plastic thing that we used to “tie” up the side of our oversized t-shirts! Guess jeans, Sebago shoes… hyper color & silk shirt were a must have!! I loved the 90’s!!

Holy Schitt I almost forgot Stir up pants. Them were comfortable.My mom had so many pairs🤣. Don’t forget the long sleeved plaid button ups and the safety pinned jeans that were folded or folded at the ankle and tucked into your socks🤢 I hated that look but I did it. 😂

you know one thing i loved about this calendar is that they could have given you a lip pencil that matched the lip stain so that you could use them together, but they STILL managed to pick two colors that don’t go together at all

I feel like the Harrod's advent calendar was my favorite-spendy, yes but it felt like you got some good squeezey tubes out of it. And the Neiman Marcus one with all the samples was tied for worst with Chanel.

Tbh the pricier Sephora Advent Calendar was waaaaaaay better than this one, even thought most products were mini size but they all were products from good brands that Sephora works with (aka ABH, Natasha Denona, Rare Beauty, Fenty Skin etc etc)

Every time I see those little mirrors I think about how you should have that with your hiking or camping stuff to signal for help if you get lost. I will also say that while Sephora does the same thing every year, at least they are predictable and there is comfort in that.

OMG!! I just had the funniest thought. With all advent calendars you have opened and all the products you have accumulated you could probably make your own advent calendars and put together better one’s or even little surprise bags for any and all occasions. Because you have soo many different products you could definitely keep a theme going and use items that actually complement each other 😊 you could sell them and at least get some of your money back, right? 😋

We literally have like the same brain. I said the same thing about the mirror when I opened mine earlier this month over here 😅😅 and we stuck the Sephora thing to our phone, also mine was extremely hard to move too. And both out lip gloss on the last day was separated and smelled off.

After the Chanel calendar, the bar for the worst beauty advent calendar isn't even a limbo stick anymore, it's a line that's nestled 6 feet into the ground and made of dollar store tinsel. Also, for that massive hair clip, I like using those to pin my hair back before doing my skincare. The not-as-incredible quality means if it gets messed up with all the water, soap, etc. it's not a big loss.

22:28 I actually LOVE these!!! I have them on all my phone cases, they’re super helpful at helping me hold my phone and readjust to reach the top of the screen without dropping it… they’ve saved me so many times. Also the really tight ones like you have are super great for using as a kickstand… although, with daily use, it definitely gets a little looser… in my experience it takes about a year to lose its stability, then it doesn’t work so great as a kickstand anymore cos it just flops closed 😬

The one with the little town set up, I think it was the ritual calendar, that one was my absolute favorite, so freakin cute! And of course we all know Chanel sucked the most ass this Christmas. I believe the holes on the front are so that it's easier to take out. you can pre poke them, then just fish them out with your nails if you have long ones

Well. At least they didn’t have a coupon, stickers or hair elastics. And I would love to get one of the advent calendars. Chanel has got to be the worse I have EVER seen. Like Chanel heard us say Sephora was horrendous and said hold my stickers.

@@gmcmisty thing is, Chanel actually listed the contents, size and ounce by day on their website page that sold the advent calendar. Its still there in the description. Was it horrible? Oh yeah. But did people have warning if they actually read the web page? Also yes.

Harrods was my favorite BUT I'd never pay that much and Chanel was the absolute worst! They should honestly send everyone that purchased one a free Purse or something to make up for it.

@23:02 those are amazing if your phone is bigger than normal. I have been using a ring pop for 3 years and it's amazing. It lets me keep a firm grip on my phone and stops it sliding out of my hand 😅

“Chanel is the worst, nothing can take it’s crown” A challenge has been issued and I won’t be shocked if a beauty/skincare/luxury brand proudly accepts the challenge. So far my favorite was the Harrod’s calendar (I also find the little bags adorable). While we all know Chanel was the worst it got to a point where it was comical, so for that reason, I’ll say the worst was QVC

thats becasue she didnt get the IPSY one lol super expensive full of SAMPLES they put in the glambags .. EXACT same things, left overs of the year... IMO that is the worst out there (after Chanel obviously lol)

I saw an actually decent Sephora advent calendar on my Italian website... basically it's a bunch of empty satchels to put things inside, so every year you make your own DIY advent calendar. THIS is something decent and this says a lot about Sephora. XD
