Devil Street
Located at the centre of the Lilongwe city, it is the hub of all sorts of business; from clothes, electronics, restaurants, barbershops and transportation among others.
The street is believed to be the only street in Lilongwe and of course probably the whole country, with a mini African Union, accommodating almost all Africans. People from Nigeria, Burundi, Congo, Rwanda, Zambia, Mozambique and Tanzania are all here.

Malawians are beautiful people & are our peaceful neighbours. Having seen two beautiful videos of a clean country side Malawi, this one has changed my perception of Lilongwe & they shouldn’t be charging people to cross that little dangerous foot bridge. Government should build them a proper & safe bridge
@innocentmalomo8664

There is proper bridge upper stream. However individuals have constructed this makeshift bridge to shorten the distance between the two markets. Thats why they charge. Infact its illegal and you use it at your own risk.

Lilongwe looks beautiful. I would like to see more investment in infrastructures like roads, sewage systems, drainages etc. Hope local politicians visit other countries, get knowledge and implement these social developments in their country. We want to see all African countries progress in this 21st century.
