I was a student at Buckingham University from 1987 to 1988. Remember visiting Meadows Walk for eating at a cafe called "Bistro" and also a supermarket called "Budgets" that existed during those years.
Lived here from 1996 to 2016! I remember walking past the Old Gaol on my walk to school (RLS). I hear that Rogers is now out of business and the space is now a real estate agent (because the town centre apparently needed another one of those...). Canvas' owner is absolutely right - great range of products!
It's a pity that this video is about 10 years old, and some of the shops and owners shown are no longer in business! Plus, of course we can't hear what they are saying!
Is the Butchers still there?i grew up in steeple Claydon then moved to Buckingham now I live in Essex. My Nan used to go into the butchers every Tuesday. (Hilda price)
