"hätte nie *gewettet", dass Kotzen meine Ehe rettet" - bester Satz, weil reimt sich auch noch. 😄Grade diese Reime mit Wortwitz machen Seeed so besonders. Schade, dass man das nicht ins Englische transportieren kann. / "I'd never bet puking would save my marriage" - the lyrics rhyme in German, which makes this that funny. The whole song is rhyming and full of word plays, which is a big strength of Seeed's lyrics in general and makes this band so special. 😄

Now you have to react to the cover also. The German metal band Feuerschwanz did a fantastic cover of this song ("Ding") and produced a hilarious video for it. They usually play Medieval Metal but also do covers of songs they like and add a little touch of metal to them. And they didn't forget to mention the original artist (Peter Fox) in the video. Feuerschwanz is a great band. They are a medieval rock band but don't take it too seriously at the same time. There are a couple of great medieval rock/metal bands (Coppelius, Vogelfrey, Subway to Sally just to drop a few names)
