Director: Shane Meadows Starring: Thomas Turgoose, Vicky McClure, Joe Gilgun, Stephen Graham, Andrew Shim, Chanel Cresswell, Danielle Watson, Andrew Ellis, Michael Socha, Rosamund Hanson
Gilgun could teach a masterclass in contained rage. He flashes so much disgust when he sees his boss but then, "Give us a hug!" Such mental gymnastics.
Sometimes the nicest thing your friends can do is insulting impersonations of your ex. I've been there. It's touching to see how accurate it was done in this episode.
@@axecx2465it's insinuated that he was killed because he was no longer a Nazi skinhead and Milky's family wanted him to pay for almost killing him and upon taking combo he was given to the Nazi skinheads and 9 times out of 10 if you try to leave a gang without permission which is rare you'll be made an example of that being either tortured beyond recognition or killed outright but a lot of people are saying he isn't dead because it didn't show him being killed on screen so hopefully he was just tortured and will make a comeback but tbh it seems very slim
I love this series ! I’m from Canada oh if only my fellow Canadians could see this , we love British drama ,humour , I love every thing British , my husband says , you must have lived there in a previous life , I adore it al , and love the Queen since a little girl ! Thank you so much to British people on line that directed me to this wonderful man’s work !
I’m British but I love Canada and have been there a couple of times (Ontario). I have the biggest crush on Calum Worthy! My neighbour is from Canada (Edmonton and Victoria) 🇨🇦❤️❤️
A very large proportion of us couldn't stand the queen, or her son, or the rest of them. The characters in this are probably supposed to feel that way too. Glad you like it though, it's one of my favourite series.
Its a shotty, when you smoked resin which is all we had in the 90s in them it went that colour after one smoke, and stained fckin everything if you spilt it, seen a few people drink some by accident as well and projectile vomit.
11:46 this is one of the greatest interactions in television or film and I wont be told otherwise. Unless you want to say otherwise. It’s your life. 42:33 also love that right or wrong, harvey rides with his dudes. Always wished they’d acknowledge how he and shaun fight in This Is England but I think he’s meant to stand in for Pukey.
I agree always come back to this episode just for that interaction Also been confirmed that yes he basically was given pukeys script and lines as jack o Connell was too big of an actor to come back athloygh their characters remain separate
go see how Shane Meadows was discovered,.. by Guy Richie... Shane drove his friend, for his friend to audition for Snatch, but Guy said he hear Shane talking and laughing with people on set using a really go cockney accent, so guy went, "never mind the person that came to the audition for the part, i'll take the friend that drove him", and the rest as they say is history.
25:11 Gadget playing Probotector - yeah it was called fucking Probotector in Europe - and after minutes of playing he's still at that bridge in level one.
If this was uploaded in this day and age and not 8 years ago RU-vid would have took it down because of the adult related scenes and the green and white stuff if you know what i mean it just goes to show how much times have changed in less than 10 years.
The roof images are a prison riot, i cant remember which prison it was but it was big news, place burnt down and they were on the roof throwing stuff and took prison officers hostage
@@fuzzy1237 so it’s whipped coffee you guys just say it backwards? My bad I’m from US … I was just curious because in the movie nobody liked it lol… and I was thinking it’s some kinda dessert? lol
@Bruce Doyle I totally agree with ya. I remember thinking that very same thought when I first started watching the series. It's really great character development, cause he was a real bastard in the movie.
This is England, the movie and the series, is spot on ! It’s exactly how it was back then. Hanging with yer mates, throwing back pints and having a laugh, and inevitably someone gets their nickers in a twist and having a rowe but always staying friends. And there was always a Woody ! Woody is my fave ! Such a good thing to binge watch on a rainy day. Thanks for uploading this ! Cheers !
Absolutely I miss it kids nowadays sitting on their ass's playing video games and watching TV all day everyday. I was never in come rain or shine me and me mates were put doing something or other. Then you'd get grounded and so you'd uncharacteristically do the dishes or other chores just so your mam would let you out early 😉 I miss old England before mass migration etc all the best 👍
As far as I know, if u live in the US, this is literally the only way to see this. So thank you, maybe one of the best shows ever made that no one knows exists. Although every now and again ya meet someone who HAS seen it, and ya get to joke about the subtitles on youtube.
Woody is a fucking man his daughter not being his and not havin a small ego after finding out his soon to be wife was cheating on him and telling her “hey go to a party have a great time I’ll take care of the kids” without havin self doubt/insecure what a great dad including him still bein cool with Milky
