I know I'm late chiming in, but for those who don't know. you don't control the horse, you control the REINS that control the horse. It is a subtle distinction, but an important one.
This game is super mysterious! I've heard amazing things about it and it's living up to it's reputation ☺️ absolutely beautiful scenery and epic encounters . And Agro the horse 🐎 💯🤩
I remember the very first time I saw this game. My dad had just borrowed this game from his friend for our PS3, I remember watching him beat Argus but that was it. 5 years later, he was at pool league and I was pretty bored , put the game on, started a new save and...been obsessed ever since, I beat the game and got all the trophies, I loved the game so much, I watched every video of someone trying to explain the lore on YT, every video Nomad posted, the beta dam, all the cut Colossus, I was obsessed . I then heard about the remake, process repeats all over again, all the trophies, all items, everything. It just warms my heart to see people have the same feeling of adventure and courage that I once had.
One of the things I love the most about this game is how it tells you stuff without actually telling you. For example, me and my friend have this theory that Wander played a role in his village as a hunter before going in his journey because of how proficient he is with his bow and how experienced he looks when riding his horse, which makes even more sense when you notice he has no idea how to properly use a sword and just swing it around like a doofus.
Ya that makes sense that he was a hunter. I like how he swings the sword around like that , it's endearing. And seriously his upper body strength for all that climbing 🪜 phew!
@@OnceUponAQuest I watched most of the episodes, the colossi will have pushed you to the edge of your limits 😆 It was good to show the real time having defeated them, honesty is precious.
rage turtle!! thank you for watching! Ya I wanted to include the real time as I was editing out boring parts where I was running around trying the same thing over and over and being generally confused. The flying ones were my fave @@SamSung-dh8dr
@@OnceUponAQuest For the flying colossus, it was a good idea to evaluate all the options, and so epic to snag it on the first try. I really liked the electric snake in the water. It is harmless and what a poetic moment.
Hello Emma! I’m really excited that you are playing Shadow of the Colossus! I remember this on the ps2 back in the days. Old school gaming, damn how time passes by! You are awesome and the channel! Have a wonderful play through 💛
Hey Tony! Thank you for joining me! Ps2 has a lot of great games and memories. I remember when we got one (me and my brother) years and years ago. I didn't play it as much as did the playstation 1 tho so I definitely missed out on some good ones . I hope you enjoy the series and it brings back some good memories for you 😊
@@OnceUponAQuest hey Emma! Yes of course I will always be here supporting your channel! Yes this game is definitely a masterpiece! I’m looking forward to Episode 2! Have a great day 💛!
I remember playing this on the ps2. It was soo different from others games I've played before it but still gives me Zelda vibes because of Horse and MC.
I looked up some gameplay to see the comparison out of curiosity! You should definitely replay the remaster I'd say it would be so cool to have experienced playing both versions 🙂
First time seeing this game. I like that you have to figure out how to kill the colossus without fighting. Each one has his own puzzle and will probably get harder has you go along. Well only 16 more to go. Good luck!
1stly, i MUST say that i REALLY adore ur enthusiasm when starting a new game, Ms Emma☺️ N ur always so invested when playing n that makes it even better! The graphic looks AMAZING! The imagery in this game is simply breathtaking! That played a huge part in making me(all of us) feel like we're in the game. Also, im TRULY sry for the inconsistency in commenting. It's hard for me to leave a comment when i havent played the game(A Plague Tale for example) myself. Same goes for this game😅 BUT this alrdy look super exciting n im ALL in for this new beautiful adventure together with u n everyone here! Hope u've been well, Ms Emma🤗
Hi Azrul and thank you so much for your kind words. I'm really happy that you're enjoying my videos! And don't worry at all about consistently commenting or watching, I don't expect that from anyone and I'm always delighted to see any comments on any of my videos! So thanks for watching 😄 I can only imagine what this game must have been like on the PS2 🥰
No, I cannot say I ever jumped from the top of the spiral into the pool of water that I already knew wasn't 3 feet deep. That never sounded like a good idea to me personally lol. Edit: I too love the camera work when riding Agro. Agro is my favorite horse in all of video games. I love the way he controls and the way the camera zooms out when you get going at a good pace, etc. (plus he's just the most noble steed ever considering what happens later.)
Hi Emma!👋Nice to meet you🙂Actually found you through the Plague Tale Requiem feeds. Super sad ending and did not expect they would do it that way. Not even a hug goodbye, a verbal goodbye, just a sling to the noodle hit...I dunno that really bugged me. From your reaction it was the same. I feel it could have been done differently is all. Amazing game just not what I was expecting in that segment. Definitely if you loved The Last Guardian you're going to love this one! Plus you get a Horse so it has to be awesome, right?!🥰The story is vague just like Last Guardian but it explains things in a way as it progresses. Great episode thanks so much! 🙂
Hello and welcome! Thanks so much for watching 🤗 I loved Plague Tale Requiem but ya that ending was tough. The way it all went down was heartbreaking. I'm so glad you found my channel through that playthrough 😃 The Last Guardian was amazing! And yes, very ambiguous and open to interpretation so I'm looking forward to seeing if I can figure out what's really going on in Shadow of the Colossus. There's something so fun about playing in a strange, unknown world where nothing is certain. And I just love running around on my horse 🐎 the best!!
Sadly I've only played the demo for this game way back in 2010 on Playstation 2 lol but never played the full game least now I know whst I'm up against when I start playing this 😂 the controls weren't difficult for me though lol what do u think of this game Emma?
Oh ya the controls definitely felt clunky at times. I think one important thing I learned was not to fight the camera so much and just let the camera do its own thing. Enjoy it when you play!
@OnceUponAQuest yea thats true and don't worry you'll be seeing my gameplay of shadow of the colossus on here when I buy my ps5 in 2025 😊 I've been dying to get a ps5 ever since 2020 when I came out the wait will soon be over 😁
Me encanta ver tu reacción y tu gameplay sobre el juego, es la primera vez que veo uno de tus videos y me emociona saber que también has jugado ico, tengo pensado ver todos los videos de shadow of the colossus, ico y demás juegos interesantes sobre ti
@@OnceUponAQuest yeaaah! Hey, let me Tell u one thing u may not know. Before Wander dies and Mono revive the Dormin Voice have only the dark presence, So The light presence maybe IS in Mono, as the man look back for a moment, like she is reborning from the light presence, as the dark is sealed in the boy.
@@OnceUponAQuest I would of loved to of seen your face bubbling at that . The end is mad emotional . Have you tried trico in vr ? And look out for the lizards in shadow
@@bestistmate I haven't tried VR at all really! I'd say Trico in VR must be very impressive. I haven't really been collecting the lizards tails but I should probably try get some more 🦎
