This weapon also just kinda completely invalidates the rail blade. Remember when it having to 2 WHOLE CRITS was OVERPOWERED and TOO MANY OPTIONS. Everything the rail blade does now is done better by pyre keeper: fast swing speed heavy, multiple crits, azure flames give extra drip, all done better by the pyre keeper
if they actually end up reworking the weapon model and how it plays, i hope they at least keep the dragon greatsword feeling the model has, say whatever u want but i kinda fw the model of pyre keeper specially the off hand dagger, it looks sick
as someoen who sucks at pvp this weapon managed to carry me through many chime rounds (i was showing my friends in a vc an example to how deepwoken feels build based in pvp lol)
In my opinion to fix the pyrekeeper its quite simple First off:remove like 2-3 critical and limit mobility criticals to only 1 (i would suggest keeping the run attack standing and jump ) Second: remove the janky hitboxes and also dont make it have total hyperarmor Third:remove burn from m1s Fourth:either remove or actually implement the dagger some actual uses And lastly nerf the shit out of it
theres a bug with flame emperor right now idk how it happens though but im pretty sure whenever it runs out it just hits the nearest player for some reason 1:11
I think the problem most people have with this weapon is not that its just strong, but also that it straight up doesnt fit in deepwoken. FIVE ENTIRE CRITS is way too much for a single weapon, no matter what stats the weapon has. (sure LFT has three crits but atleast it cant choose them at any point in time) Not to mention the horrible design that looks like something out of a goofy simulator game.
Deepwoken devs when literally the entire community hates something (They will still do absolutely nothing except miniscule almost insignificant nerfs for months)
reoving the hyperarmor for the middle of the standing crit would be a buff, right now it gives autoparry frames so if you parry the first hit you get 2 free hits while theyre stuck in the anim remove it from the windup tho
all this, and the next update is still gonna be a huge emperor flame buff, frostdraw gets another nerf, new flamecharm weapon, new 3 star flamecharm mantra, conquest got pushed back even further 😭😭🙏🙏🙏
Pyre keeper just needs to be vaulted. There is zero reason for the running crit to have hyper armor. Literally any other rush type of move has no hyper armor besides Petra’s anchor. The slide crit still has unreactable windup. Arguably powercreeps the railblade in stats and crits. The only okay crits are the aerial and normal crit. Since the normal crit you get ap frames throughout the whole thing. But the weapon still needs a rework from a dev spec.
you forgot to mention: 2nd, 3rd (4th too i think) m1 do 60% LESS damage (due to it being dagger) as well as aerial attack even if you have 40 dmg per m1 it will still do 20 dmg (basic battleaxe) which is BAD, like VERY bad You either spam crits with this wep or just don't m1 at all Add on top of it flamecharm being BAD (worst attument in the game) and we got build that got me from 1300 to 1000 within one night it's so bad like it's VERY bad compared to the actual meta
@@denjelos8740 fire blade being worst guard break in entire game as well as burning servants your own moves give you damage without dealing crazy dmg on their own terrible feints due to fact half of the mantras have high wind up (expect flame leap and rising flame) Constant burning effect nerfs now being vulnorable to armor protection making it BAD
@@SagreChinto dude flame has a bunch of other mantras, and crazy talents. If you play flame right you can even regen while being azure flames, or just go serpent. Infact if you make a self burn build, You can have infinite ether, outregen ur burn damage do 25% more m1 damage and also be faster And dont forget the high damaging mantras and the extremely modifable ones, i was abke to make an unkillable mage just via flame
u fought the worst hive lord user i ever seen and he still got u to 34% fight a jetstriker nem one who knows how to use it if u dodge they lock on to u and hit u anyways with m1 so u have to parry
the standing crit actually gives autoparry on the first swing, and since you dont lose autoparry from m1s you can usually sneak in some m1s for free lol. if all the crits were as awful as standing crit then pyre might be balanced.
Why does pyrekeeper get so much more love from the dev team than all the other legendaries. It having six crits is just simply unfair to the rest of the weapon roster
I feel like when I get beat by a fist user its like "Okay thats on me" but when i get beat by some braindead pyre keeper just pressing buttons it feels like bs
For a legendary, having 2, even 3, is fine. But 6 crits? 6 crits is the equivalent of 6 mantras, you have 6 different mix-up options *just* from your weapon. That's not balance, that's straight up bullcrap.
im not saying it's balanced but it performs WAY better in low elo than in high elo. If you're fighting someone who doesn't know how to parry it you will beat them so fast but if you go up against someone who can parry the crits, it's really not that bad, unbalanced and unfair but it's not some sort of instant I win button, me personaly at higher elo i do way better on my silentheart glasscannon build than my pyre keeper build. There is some stuff that needs nerfs tho: The sliding crit I feel like should be 360 degree blockable and have lower posture damage so that it can be blocked more easily, cause you can kinda pull it out anytime your enemy is a little far away and land it for free. the croching crit is actually hella hard to use so i feel like that ones alright. the running one is SUPER buggy and dumb that one should get alot of changes. parrying the first swing of the standing crit allows you to hit the pyre user during their hyper armor and still parry the other 2 hits, it's completely unavoidable damage so I feel like that crit isn't too busted but mabey get rid of hyper armor up until after the first swing. Also just in general the damage of the crits could be toned down and the slow down on m1's is kinda busted, mabey make it a chance to proc instead of flame or somthing. as for the model, I think it would be fine if they took the current one and make it glow like a lightsaber only during crits and look like only slightly on fire the rest of the time.
at this point id be ok if they just removed it like we've been waiting too long for good content if deleteing this weapon instead of balacing will help them get a good update out faster than go ahead lmao
Fun fact: Pyre Keeper has the EXACT same Swing Speed as Pleeksty's Inferno and because Pyre Keeper has NO ENDLAG they swing at the EXACT same speed at 0.93 'Balanced' *Thumbs up*
Gonna say some things cause bros after the bag more than anything else 🙏 Parrying the standing crit gives autoparry frames allowing for punishing (don’t feint or use mantras it will cancel ur frames). That’s it it’s pretty good never use the aerial or crouching crit tho it’s Garbage
they should remove pyre or rework it, change the model and crits and make it something simple, a bunch of my friends left deep after they added that weapon because it doesnt fit the game we paid for ps: why does it even need lht points, makes no sense, its just like the stupid dev who made it just wanted to make something broken (that he would use) and said "HEY GUYS U NEED TO INVEST IN 3 DIFFERENT THINGS SO ITS FAIR GUYS!!" theres no point in having light in that, in a realistic fight why would u switch between a bigass sword to a dagger for slash? The dev who made that is a disappointment
Honestly this weapon never looked that good or felt smooth. Deep weapons always had a semi realistic feel to them. This is something you’d find in blox fruits or blade ball. A rework would be nice
you should make a video on how much damage imperial staff does when it fully hits (for my build it did 50% dmg to a 450 hp build and to a freshie it did 98%)
