@@cytal so triads (chords) have three notes, right these 3 notes are the first, third and fifth notes of the scale, for example: a C Major chord consists of C, E and G, and the C Major scale consists of the notes C D E F G A B when someone says "flatten the fifth", they mean bring the third note of the chord - the fifth note OF THE SCALE, by half a step. oh, and also, minor chords are just major chords but with a flattened third - second note of the chord, if you didn't know
I got a similar thing in FL Studio with an NES plugin that has a 'Slide' ... I believe that's the name... Reaching from one note to the next not instantaneously, but instead more wavy.. smoothly
