Well, to be fair, it is quite a specific and rare situation, but still, did they really not even consider that snuwucar can behave weird with such hitboxes in new game with a ton of new suerfaces and geometries?
Are you kidding me. Every landing is affected by the hit box. This will change 80% of the driving and things you need to do. Just don’t talk if you don’t know
@@smam7667 I don't get your problem with my comment. I am talking about hover boost down on sausage - that is "specific situation" I am reffering to. I am sure the reason why people even found this weird behavior is because it appeared in altered nadeo campaign on autumn 21. (But obviously they would find it anyway). As for the second part, in 2003 game there were not so many convex geometries and intricate transitions so old hitboxes were more or less fine, but now in the TM2020 we have a lot of different things and we see a lot of weird things with snowcar. So my complain is about releasing car without any change. And either nando didn't test it enough and didn't notice weirds things, either they decided to release it anyway despite knowing. As for your statement. For me 80% of driving on snowcar consist of transitions (like on Karlberg's map in streamers campaign). I guess new hitboxes indeed will change snow transitional. I may be wrong but it seems that removing the huge ball (hitbox) at the centre of the car will make transitions just less punishing for mistakes but it is just a naive idea and since there is person WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS something about this game I would really love to hear his/her enlightening opinion.
@@dimastus First of sorry for being mean. Even in the old game snow car was very inconsistent. Karlsbergs map is a good example of how to work around the issues of the ball hit box making a lot of landing bugs, but they still exist on the map, even though it is very transitional. The geometry is so fucked that even on a regular sharp turn it is noticeable when the car tips. I could go on but what I am trying to say it that sausage blocks and clycndrical turns being buggy is like 1% of the actual problem. The bad hit box is noticeable in almost all situations of driving. That’s why I was annoyed by your comment because imo it was missing the point.
@@smam7667 I see... But I wonder: if something is connected to hitboxes shouldn't I hear some kind of crash sound or see sparkles? Perhaps, though, I should but just didn't notice them.
im saying the hitbox on the snow car that causes landing bugs is being removed, this setup was just to show how bad the hitboxes were since they havent been changed since 2003
