This Is Getting Hard Now Having Cancer Really Sucks
So, as you may know I am battling numerous cancers in my body and potentially have a 4th kind in me.
I am sorry I can't reply to every comment now, I am beyond sick. Some comments I am replying to as they come up on my phone but I will read and acknowledge every comment I can.
Just to be clear I have:
Pleomorphic Sarcomatoid Carcinomas (Chest Wall - Lympnodes and Left Axilla)
Primary Cutaneous Sarcomatoid Carcinomas (Left Flank and Back)
An Unknown Sarcoma (Between Left Flank And Axilla)
And now potentially an osteosarcoma in my left leg (This has been scanned and is showing visible signs of it and pain)
I need to now try find treatment myself wherever it maybe, the two places I am looking at going are America and Germany. I have spoken to numerous specialists and they believe this could prove positive but agree I need to see the professor at The Royal Marsden first so they can all sing from the same hymn sheet so to speak.
My only option for therapeutic treatment such as Chemo and Radio would to be to pay for it abroad at this point and I simply cannot afford it.

Dear Dan, I am so sorry... I wrote you about my son, he has got an high grade osteosarcoma since 2016, I am with him every single day, whenever he is in hospital I stay there with him. I think I can say that after more than two years treatment I know a lot about osteosarcomas. I know from our oncologist that the treatment in the U.S. is exactly the same as in Germany so maybe it would be easier for you and not so expensive to come to Germany? Maybe you don't have to pay for the treatment here because you also live in the EU? I really want to help you as much as I can, if it helps you I can tell you everything I know about treatment of osteosarcoma in Munich on telephone, it would be the fastest possibility. Please tell me if you are interested. I send you a big hug!

We are routing for you, you are entitled to say how you feel and it's incredibly brave to show that. Is your oncology team aware of any funding that you can apply yo for treatment option help or any places you could apply to for grants re treatment. You are in my thoughts and prayers xx

He answered my e-mails before his channel got big and he got more poorly! He sent me a copy of a letter that the doctors had told him that he was highly over anxious, I could not believe what I was reading! Am watching this a year after he and Emily Hayward passed with cancer! RIP Dan and Emily, I hope both your families are managing! My partner was diagnosed with liver cancer and it is a awful dark place to be, you try and be brave, you fight but also you get scared x Love to all the people watching this looking for hope! We have to cure this awful illness, one in two now get cancer of some degree or another, when you go to a oncologist their is no age, class, anyone can have this in their body! I got stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastatic in lymph nodes and in my spine it's way over the top, sometimes I want to give up but there's no easy way out. Hang in there if you can.

I feel so invested in you and your story. I don’t know why but there’s something about you that myself and all your other subscribers seem to love and you draw us in. Without sounding creepy you’re in my thoughts throughout the day and every time you post I hope and pray that it’s good news. I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this. Dan that was a hard one to watch when you look in the camera you look so lost. I totally agree though its been wave after wave recently. You bob back up and shit here comes another wave bigger than the one before I can see how exhausting this is. Claire Amphlett-Thomas here we are six months later and he is gone. But man did he fight. Hospice didn’t even think he would be alive two days after getting there and lived a full week. His family is having a service which everyone is invited to next week 💜

He certainly put up the best fight he could. He helped so many people with all of his research. He was struggling yet he kept on so others could benefit from all he was able to learn about this horrible disease. His family must be so proud of him and what he was able to accomplish!

You did enough. You inspired a lot of people.I see that you feel you didn't do enough for other, you didn't make a difference and time is ticking. You wanna leave your contribution to the world. But you are enough. You did what you could. So if you just want to concentrate on yourself now, it's ok. If you want to seek answers its ok. If you want to fight you are not alone. And if you don't want to fight it's also ok.but just know that what ever you want, or can do, you are enough. A great, strong and inspiring man

The sheer raw honesty and emotion in this video is heartbreaking💔💔💔Why this came up on my recommended now, I have no idea. But you whip a person out of any self pity, depression or worry, in relation to what you went through, it's nothing. Hi - I’ve been following your channel and watching your videos, but haven’t been sure what to say. But as I sit here in the middle of the night, unable to sleep, I just wanted to tell you that you are an amazing gentleman who is fighting heroically on many different fronts. I get worried for you sometimes - that you may be spreading yourself so thin that you are not resting. So, my new friend, please allow yourself to be at peace. Run the race - fight the good fight - but also, be at peace. All of us, as living beings, put out energy into the world simply by existing. But you are sending out such goodness and positivity that I am humbled every time I listen to your words. I am a liturgical musician in the US and there are many songs that I use in my ministry to hopefully give people something to hold on to when it seems like the boat is rocking too much. So, tonight, I leave you with these words and I pray that you feel all of us out here supporting you with arms wide open. “I’ve seen dreams that move the mountains, hope that doesn’t ever end, even when the sky is falling. You are so brave and I admire you for taking this public. I had stage 4 cancer four year ago. I had a tumor in my neck and addressed it right away. I was working with three excellent cancer doctors. I had 35 radiation treatments and two months of strong chemo. It was a very rocky road and I lost 50 pounds during my treatments. As of this writing I am still in remission and my chemo and radiation doctors keep a close eye on me with visits every 3-4 months. I feel good and only wish you could get to the USA for treatments as we have so many wonderful hospitals treating cancer. Please know my thoughts are with you and never give up the fight.

Dear Dan Your mind might be all over the place and understandably so, but amazingly you still make so much heartfelt sense. Your expression and explanation of your feelings is so so important for both yourself, a living diary, but also for others trying to make sense of their feelings. Your gift is your voice, and especially for boys and men, as you say, there are few men expressing themselves publically. Don’t ever question whether it’s too much or too little, what ever your truth is, that’s what you should express. Please don’t ever apologise for not responding. We love you, and support you ♥️♥️♥️

I find you to be a beautiful spirit! I’ve only just started watching your vlogs but with all my might I hope you get answers. That has got to be very frustrating. It’s deploying that because you don’t have the money, you can’t get the help you need. Quite frankly, cancer pisses me off. Please keep vlogging as I find your voice very soothing. I could see it in your eyes your not feeling well. It's like what your mom said, take it one day at a time. I get a feeling once they get everything in order, the doctors, you will have the cancer more controlled and once that happens you could finally get back to daily life as you want❤️ Just keep strong💪

I really feel your pain and heartache .. i myself got diagnosed in 2016 with cancer of the bladder at age 35 .. and at the time i was 20 weeks pregnant when i found out . Surgery was scary as hell as i was awake through it (had a spinal) and treatment after was hard .. i just want u to know i care and im following ur journey and here to support u anyway i can x x

Such a horrible cruel disease. I found out recently 2 friends of friends have both found out they have cancer. Both young mums (mid 30’s). You are a brave man to tell your story. Such inspiration ❤️
