I have to say that I have the upmost respect for Dougo! A man who has worked hard his entire life to support our country from the bottom, the silent soldier and still makes sure that his appearance, machinery and family are all taken care of! Larson 2024!
Big Swede, 2 Pro tips when using a hole saw. 1. Only use the pilot drill, to drill the pilot hole. Then put the saw on the mandrill, otherwise when the pilot punches through, the saw grabs and the pilot drill brakes. 2. Don’t over lubricant the hole saw. Over lubricating will make the saw not cut. Thus making it burn up faster than using less lube. And yes I am an expert when it comes to hole sawing through steel.
Clean the injectors on the boat in an ultrasonic cleaner, upside down with mineral spirits. Also make sure to get all the air out! Particles clogging the filter in each injector will block the fuel flow. Keep up the good work guys!
They are a great tool and light. I’ve run countless screws with mine. I believe they produce 100 lbs ft of torque, you have to be careful to not run the screws too deep.
I would look at tekton for a 30 and 60 degree angle wrench, very high quality and you can buy them individually up to 2" especially for something like that track tension spring thing. i use them almost daily working on bobcats and they have never let me down, and they are made in USA so thats a plus
If it’s 100LL then it burns cooler. It’s higher octane which means it burns slower and more controlled. That’s why we run it in the planes because they are air cooled! It’s good for storage too!
My great nefew Tommy Gustafson runs the pumper cement truck, he got the truck, because his best friend Tim, was killed snowmobiling in 2021 and he was the driver of the pumper cement truck, he was a great guy!! Rest in Peace Tim Dewitt
Chet, you can get a big wrench sets at harbor freight or northern tool pretty cheap. Your 1 1/4" fill line to the frack tank is only going to give you about 30 gpm.
Glad to see your back miss seeing your videos. Love watching them and sometimes a lot of laughs when getting stuck and fixing machinery for winter hits .WOW Brody & Chris onto of a roof as hot as the metal is make you knees and hands start to burn wow.
With those 2 big toolboxes, I thought you would have the right size wrench for adjusting the sprayer springs. And you may want to use worm-drive hose clamps instead of the zip ties to hold the hose to the 2 x 2. Enjoy all your projects!
Dougo, Stay away from avgas the additives that it has are not good for your outboard. you want VP racing fuel they have several grades & octane levels, you can get it in 30gal drums delivered.. Or look online to see if there’s a Vp race fuel station around your area..
Hydrating for sure with Northern Chill! Just one question, are you losing a lot of work time from Brodie and Big Swede draining the old baldder? Where? OSHA #1202-B19 says you can deduct bathroom breaks from hourly wages due to distance and time taken from the prescribed job site. What ever happened to LF best ever sturdy forever building practices - are you kidding me - 2x2 and zip ties?? No way are you going to remember to turn that off come winter time - I can guarantee it! Been there, done that! Most enjoyable videos ever!
We just put in the same variable speed drive for a well at work, you guys should be happy with it. Just remember to occasionally blow the dust out of the heat sink in it, with dry air.
I recently watched a guy cut out 1 inch bolt holes in 3/4 inch plate with a plasma cutter. in a fraction of time versus a drill bit. I can't imagine running a farm without one.
I was concerned that you might start the water tank on fire. ;) That happened in Eden Prairie when they were building the water tower in the early 1990's. Welders set the insulation on fire. The news channels carried it all over the world.
the airplane fuel raises the octane and might mess up the time it takes the mixture to fully combust (reduces the rpm as the piston is fighting the combustion going back up) it probably helps if you have old fuel in the tank though and put in a little gulp to spike it some , emptying the tak and put in fresh fuel should be better though probably start running better once you flushes the airplane fuel out of the tank and put some premium gas in
Manufactorers state in their instructions: running hours/specs of oil/specs of fuel. If an engine has not run for a while replace fluids for the specs given. If that does not help, clean/repair it.
I surely don’t know farming as well as you do and appreciate learning from you guys. I work in the heavy building materials industry as a cement/aggregate sales rep. So you know: cement is the active ingredient in concrete, concrete is the slurry mixture of cement, water, and aggregates, so you’re really getting concrete delivered for your grain bins, not cement. Hope this little bit of education helps!
17:00 my house pex pipe can't be in the sun or it deteriorates - I don't know exactly what you have, but you. might need some covering on the pipe above the ground.
Thanks for another great video Chet and Eric and Brody. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. I like Brody’s comment to Chet about setting a timer on his phone to shut off the water. I do that all the time. I just call up the phone verbally and tell it to set timer for whatever. Works super for not forgetting something like water flooding. Good one Brody for Chet. The way you set up the water tank is just fine in my eyes. It all works fine. Love your bin builders. That is some base of concrete they built-;wow and wow!!!!!!!! That will be quite the bin. Busy with machinery right now I see. Some being put away for storage snd tractors going back off lease and getting equipment ready for harvest. Good to see uncle Randy. Need some more of him and grandpa and grandma. They all are super people. Dougo I feel bad for you. Everyone around the nation has advice for you on your boat motor. Ask the dealership were you got it from and go from there. End up story!!!!!!!!! Sounds like your new well is doing good. Good job done. Thanks for everything gentlemen. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Do you clean all the algae and or barnacles off the bottom? That could affect top speed. On my fishing boats a dirty bottom could cause up to 10% more fuel use.
