So stepping aside from Kerbalcide for a moment (although the number of lost souls in this video was quite high) I decided to repeat my venus power decent challenge in Kerbal Space Program to only learn that EVE ≠ VENUS... its a lot harder!

It looks like however you may have real solar system installed lol! That's a lot harder. I need to install it and try again! lol

I have some mods installed but still stock system (Deadly Rentry and FAR are likely making it harder for me than completely stock-flight which I may try to do next and see if that helps). Great Video and I'm glad to see its doable!

@@picospace ahh Far explains a bit lol!! Still however your orbital velocity is reading as if you are using full sized solar system. Should be a little over 3000ms in stable low eve orbit however it seems your velocity at the same height is over 7000ms. That is night and day as far as the challenge goes lol!! I want to try that lol! Getting to eve will be a lot harder tho as well due to the fact Kevin’s orbital velocity would be around 7200 ms at real sized solar system!

I’d try going smaller (and lighter) to reduce the density and use the thick atmosphere to bleed off the velocity. I’ll see if I have time later to give it a go myself

I try, I need to reboot my #Kerbalcide series and get better at not blowing up spacecraft. I do have a video in the works of my favorite tiny mods for tiny space missions coming soon.

Grab SFS for Mobile (its free) and attempt Venus, its easier (trust me) but still quite a challenge.

So just retroburn in the atmosphere and land? Are there delta v requirements?

@Kerbalnautics91 Retroburn is your ONLY landing aid, its hard on EVE because of the orbital velocity and thick atmosphere. No dV limitations, if you can get 100,000dV to EVE, you can use that.
