Another amazing video!!! I love these Chinese Food Courts, always great food and not heavy on the pockets!! There is one by my house all the way over here in Mississauga, Dixie Park Centre located on 1550 S Gateway Road & Dixie Road, awesome food and not so expensive!
Ok that pork belly eye roll followed by Devine lights had me laughing. 🙃 Thank you for your honest reviews on the foods- you’re never critical, but you you still point out the things to watch out for. I respect that! Hoping you can include a pacific island review in the future. 🌺🤤
Lol, thanks for your feedback! I try my best to describe what I do like about each dish, yes it’s been mentioned before that I generally only comment on the positives but that’s kinda been my intentional choice. I think most foods out there, even if it doesn’t necessarily jive with me, has it’s own good elements so I just try to focus in on that. In the rare instances where I’ve tried a spot that objectively misses the mark, which has thus far only happened twice, I just didn’t release the video. Pacific Islands - poke maybe?
@@IGetFood Ah ok. Makes sense. Though I do appreciate that you describe certain things to be maybe on the salty side, or with the noodles on the softer side, etc. still informative without being critical. But overall it’s your enthusiasm that keeps me watching ! As far as pacific island foods I was thinking more Polynesian- like Samoan. Thereabouts. 🤤🌺
are you knocking jollibee spaghetti when you are referring to ketchup based sauce? since jollibee uses a banana ketchup in their sauce. Also Great Fountain is CASH only
@@marcc5768 i actually didn’t know it was banana ketchup until another viewer mentioned it on a Jollibee video I did. Definitely wasn’t a jab at Jollibee in this case but it’s not a secret that I’m not in love with the Jollibee spaghetti, I much prefer the palabok for a side dish. That said, both the Jollibee sauce and the one here from Great Fountain (which almost all HK styles of red sauce are like) have a flavour that’s distinctive from what a more Italian style red sauce for pasta is like. Also, was a Great Fountain today actually and was given the option to pay by card but cash is definitely preferred
