Wild dragons Cannibal, Sheepstealer, Greyghost Cannibal survived and leave dragonstone Sheepstealer survived and went to Vale with nettles and lived among the mountain clans. Probably died of old age. Greyghost was killed by Sunfyre at dragonstone.
Balerion is not the *only* dragon to survive the Doom of Valyria, i believe it’s stated that the Targs came over with 5, but they had all passed away or gone missing by Aegon I’s reign. There was also another random dragonlord who took an army of 30k and flew back into Valyria after the doom to try and reclaim it.
@@lagadema16 Well it’s a bit strange. Aerea Targaryen did fly him (more accurate to say HE flew HER) presumably to old Valyria. He was heavily wounded (massive gash on his side if I remember right), and she died of fire parasites. But Balerion died 40 years after that happened. He was said to be lethargic in his final years, but we have no idea if that is because he got evil Valyria worms or diseases inside him, or an animal that’s possibly well over 200 years old and of an impossible size succumbing to nature.
its not physically possible for morning to have died of old age, morning was born in 130 AC during the dance. Dragons can live 200 years before dying of old age meaning morning would have been 170 years old during the events of game of thrones.
This bothers me about all the dragons who survived the dance. Where did they go? Noone noticed a dragon anywhere? Is 300 years not the norm because they all seem to have died very young. Feels like a plot device that just get drop after their use was done. Vague for mystery sake.
I'm pretty sure dragons can live forever as long as they have space to fly and live. Balerion only became lethargic and slow after his trip to valyria with aerea Targaryen. It was noted that he had huge gashes along his body. It's possible balerion was also incredibly sick, because aerea was basically a host for weird wyrm creatures. Dragons have magical constitutions but that doesn't mean they're immune to disease and sickness. Balerion cooped up in the dragon pit because he was sick from his trip to valyria, which is probably why he died. His body was just too stressed and he died.
Yes. And Dreamfyre was a queen's dragon before. After the queen death, Helaena (Almond's sister) claimed Dreamfyre. But she never been to battle, because she was a woman, so Dreamfyre never fought. She was be incredible being such a big dragon
You say he’s overrated just because he’s a team green dragon bitch don’t be mad just because he fought and killed multiple dragons and still manage to be alive
0:38 Balerion was not the last surviving dragon of the Doom of Valeria!! Within 40 seconds you lost me dude. Do some research. What about vhagar? ya know his sister that's still very much alive on the show?
The dragons of Valyria laired on the slopes of the Fourteen Fires. When the Doom took place, they were almost all killed. The only survivors were Balerion, Vhagar and Meraxes, the dragons belonging to House Targaryen, living in self-imposed exile on the island of Dragonstone far to the west. Found that after a simple Google search. If you're going to put shit out like this please get your information correct. All the people that sees this are going to be confused because of wrong information you gave them.
house targeryan had 5 dragons when they went to westeros with Balerion being the only one surviving in westeros but not before 2 eggs hatched which were vhagar and meraxes
Balerion is actually the last dragon born in Valyria before the doom which could explain his size due to being born in a more magical place and time. The Dragons Vhagar and Meraxes were hatched on Dragonstone.
