Would love to see a series on different ways to use Mautic.. in regard to Mautic API.. I am certain that many folks would like to see this for example like: 1. Basic oath API 2.OATH2 Api 3. Postman examples of Mautic API as a learning tool... 4. Each one alone could be a full video.... 5. Jump in folks with your comments and add you YAA.. the more folks that ask for this series the more likley Joey is to do it... 6. This is something that most of us are weak in...

Excellent video! Thank you! I have got an advanced problem. We need to send out 100k emails regularly. We use the queue to send out the emails. I created a bash file with several mautic:emails:send processes with different lock-files and started them in a few seconds distance. This bash file is called every minute by the cron. So I ended up having 10 resp. 20 parallel processes sending out the emails to our SMTP service provider. Sending was really fast, however from 314 emails we wanted to send out, 348 emails were processed. I could see that some email addresses received an email twice and others up to 5 times. Do you have any idea, how to prevent this happening? Thanks!
Hi! Thank you. Lock mode should be safe… did you use this setting as well? --lock_mode=LOCK_MODE Allowed value are “pid” , “file_lock” or “flock”. By default, lock will try with pid, if not available will use file system [default: “pid”]
It is a great question, and mautic:messages:send is really important. It will send out those marketing messages, that are frequency sensitive. Once they are rescheduled based on your frequency settings this cron will send them out when they are due.
What email setting do you recommend for my case. I primarily send out emails via email newsletter campaigns. If I need to set it to queue what message limit for queue processing: 300, 900, 500, etc. What is the best practice for my scenario? I have v2core /2Gig ram /80Gig space /Linux And how to set the cron properly in this setup. Thanks.
Hi, the video explains exactly your question. 1. Measure how long it takes to complete 1 thread in 1 cycle (for example 1 minute) 2. Set the number of threads according to the ouput allowed to you (max send rate allowed / min by the smtp) But a 2 Gig RAM VPS is on the lower end, so don't expect wonders.
Hu Jozel your video are great solution providers. I wonder when to use "bin" and "app" in the commmand. I wonder if they are interchangebly used and another point is you dont have any links in your desscription, maybe your website address. thanks
Hello i am new to mautic My question is : cant we add time intervals between the emails being sent by campaigns .lets say 10 emails in 1 hour .isnt it possible in campaigns itself. Do i need to use queues?in M5 it doesnt have app/spool iguess I want to have some intervals within the emails being sent under a campaign and seg

Wow! Great job Jozsef! I have an issue - I have our campaigns (segment oriented with template emails) and all emails are pending, any idea how to solve it? I've registered on your website and read all the articles and found out that "Campaign steps work, just email is not being sent out. Why? Okay, that is a different story. I’ll have a tutorial coming up about it soon." :)
@@keeponautomating I found on your website in the comments section a suggestion to take a look at the crons. We've also updated php version at the same time. All is working now. Hello Jozsef Great video I have an issue with mautic. I am pretty new by the way. I send emails out and they don't deliver. What may be the reason for this? I have set up mautic and integrated with Amazon API. Test mails go out fine. Connection is good but the Emails don't deliver to my contact list. Help point me to what I may be doing wrong.
Hello Andre, The test email is sent out outside of the regular cron cycle. Most likely your cron is not set up right. Are you running the mautic:emails:send command?
