Great video and very approachable to people that are familiar with excel. I love that power query is in PowerBI and excel so it’s an easy transition into visualization once you get comfortable with data cleaning

I agree it’s kinda fast if you’re following step by step. Kinda more suited for someone with advanced excel skills. It’s easier to watch one round for understanding first before attempting to follow I think. Appreciate Mo’s efforts too!

This has become my go-to video for data cleaning. Thank you so much I have a survey excel sheet that contains multiple survey questions ie Q1 - Q6 and these questions all have diff answers. It depends haha. Sometimes Excel, sometimes Power Query, sometimes Python, sometimes Tableau... It just depends on the use case and what's most efficient.

I have a question please... When I open power query and load my data the green bars above column name not appear I tried to show them but I found two options in data view tab whitespace and monospaced how I show the other options ... I use excel 2019 All the best for you😊

I am working on cleaning the data on power query, but I got an error on a column where most of the data is numeric but at the end of the column some of the data is alphanumeric like: NME67897 the rest of the values are numeric like 18657898 how can I fix this error...?

You can actually change type simultaneously by pressing ctr while choosing the column. BTW thanks for this video

Did you just say super easy cleaning???🤔 This is a huge mountain to climb. The most challenging part is how you separate the min and max salary from the range. Second is merging queries -states abrev and long form plus so much I need to learn.😢
