Get yours captive bred. Don’t support pet stores. Also, don’t get a glass enclosure and make sure yours is at least 4 feet

That's normal. If i recall correctly urinating and bowel movements can dehydrate them as they originate from arid climates, so they often do that in water. So they soak up what they lose.

I got mine when it was 8 months old. Now I’ve had it for 10 months and it’s just come out of hibernation. One problem, the old skin around his eye is stuck and he cannot see at all. Any advice?
