Jankos is right...can you see G2 compete with this? they might win a game, they can even abuse some comps, but to go head to head vs this level of laning and mechanics? not within their skill, not on a consistent basis, they'd have to manage an absolute heist to take a series from T1

Such a different video comparing Jankos to IWD. Jankos really tells us everything that's going on in the first game, many things I missed with my low elo brain. He called it the best game (macro wise) he's seen, how both teams have great understanding of what they have to do. So wholesome and educative. IWD just said it's the worst series he's ever seen and that the teams played horrible (mostly TES ofc) -- was just frustrating and unfun to watch his reaction, he clearly didn't want to be there. Of course, I'd behave the same way if the team I'm rooting for is getting stomped, but I'm not a content creator.

I don't know. TES has 3 Worlds champions and second best toplaner in LPL but look absolutely clueless in this game. T1 mentality is just different, they fearless but very calm, they play like a machine, not human.

There is series like GAM vs MDK and then there is T1 vs TES

Besides G3, it doesn’t feel like TES played poorly like in the past. All these fights were at a knife’s edge in terms of execution. T1 was just a step above in execution and team fighting. I’m hoping T1 keeps this form and GenG does the same going into the semis and finals. Likewise for the LPL on the other side of the bracket. This could easily be the most equally skilled semis/finals in a long time.

Im a low elo player but even to me....the T1 clean play is so obvious. Unreal. They are patient when they need to, pick a side lane when they need to, force a dragon or baron when they need to, get picks in the team fights when they need to. Unreal play this series.

25:45 not entirely true. T1 botlane always stomps GenG botlane. The reason why GenG is strong this year is they so good with this laneswaps. GenG is all about late game. Peyz Lehends when they get farm safely early game is a guarantee win to GenG. All they need to do is to avoid T1 botlane, and they so good at avoiding T1 botlane during summer split. Also what worst about summer split is the adc mid meta which is actually in favor with Chovy playstyle. Chovy is literally cs machine. So T1 need to do something about GenG laneswaps and macro play (actually hard given that they are 0-10 against GenG), otherwise it's just the same.

The fact that Riot nerfed T1 last patch for not be able to enter worlds to giving them the comfortable meta for worlds is just insane. They are really comfortable with the meta right now and playing as one team.

t1 literally transforms into an elite team that has the ability to destroy your emotions, mentality and courage.

This T1 is in a whole new level! I am a huge T1 fan but the DDoS attacks on them back in their LCK seasons made them the weakest form T1 has ever been, it is also impressive that despite such DDoS attacks they have made it to spring finals almost beating GEN.G in a Bo5. After that the attacks on them had a huge impact on their performance. Summer, the weakest form of T1 as per my observation. They barely made it to worlds with a tight Bo5 for the 4th seed in the LCK. Starting at worlds watching their first game against TES my observation proves to be right, T1 is not gonna reach the knockout stage.... and then here they are! they just stomped BLG with a very clean macro game and just few hours ago they just swept the LPL's number 2 with a 15-0 game 2!? I don't f-ing know where this power spikes coming from?! Everything is clean, wrong moves are instantly punished, even the aggressive play are punished and they have trade for everything that TES takes! That is crazy! This is T1's best! felt like JDG vs T1 back in Worlds 2023 but is much calculated, patient and much cleaner! The upcoming semi finals will surely be a banger! Macro wise T1 and GEN.G are probably the same though GEN.G is much aggressive when it comes to plays but at this point T1 macro will punish even a single mistake from an aggressive play, another edge of T1 is that the roster is much stable than GEN.G's, we all know choke issues of this team in international tournaments. Nonetheless, this upcoming semi finals is going to be a banger! World class T1 the sturdiest, strongest and cleanest form against GEN.G on possibly the same level!

Guys, I have a feeling T1 can do it again. Listen, Gen.G is amazing this year, but they haven't played in two weeks. Now they face FLY, so you basically don't play competitively for three weeks, and T1 hit their peak like last year... I mean it could be the real reason why Gen.G always chokes because they get 3-0 and then stop playing. In the quarterfinals, they get a real opponent and they lose. Now it's even worse; you don't get a real one... For me, it's a done deal - if Gen.G loses one game, I am convinced. . . . T1 fighting! ❤
