On the 4th of July, I had a state representative approach me. I was doing facepainting at a fundraiser. She asked if I had anything to ask her. I did I asked her about holding congressional hearings into Scientologies tax exempt status. She said she knew nothing about scientology. I gave her a 5 min overview about human trafficking credit card fraud, identity theft. Child and elder abuse. She said she would learn more about it. I recommended " growing up in scientology" on you tube.
I think the end comes when scientology loses its tax exemption in the USA. They do not have it here in Canada and I only hope one day it becomes the same south of the border
I wholeheartedly agree that any person who creates a channel should get to decide what content they want to explore with their channel and experience freedom of speech!
AAron, I sent you an email from Sunday here in Battle Creek where I am certain I filled Jeff Breedlove and 2 other grumpy Scientologists ears with cult facts. They were unmoved, but Jeff did keep making eye contact with me. I think once you said you knew him. Please take a look at it and see what you think. It was a nice change since usually it's so completely empty. I kept telling them about all the empty orgs. I KNOW they had to hear much of what I said. Thanks AAron.❤
In the United States, it is the House of Representatives Committee of Ways and Means that is the chief tax-writing committee that has oversight of the IRS and tax-exemption status of organizations.
Whenever I go by the Philadelphia Org, I never see anyone in there. The last time I was by there, it was a Thursday afternoon, and all I saw was one woman at a desk, and the door was locked. I knocked on the door, and she didn't even acknowledge me.very strange.
Aaron, you are so right to resist the professionalisation and organization of the movement. Once it's an organization it ceases to be a movement. Much better to have people who are free agents representing their actual personal views than minions of an organization doing what's best for said organization. Ex-scientologists of all people should be able to understand that.
Scientology has been returning money specifically for those like Rosemary caught up in the Chase Wave and other fraud that is still under the statute of limitations. I’ve heard of Graham Berry having success for people recently out of Scientology, but Tori has been out for 20 years and any fraud or deception related to her would be well past the statute of limitations.
Ìn my opinion, your opinion is spot on Aaron. These celebrities are condoning Slave Labour, my heart breaks and my tears flow, and im a never in, so I can't imagine the pain all you pure souls carry. Sending Strength and light ✨️ 😊
I agree Aaron. Simply put a person is more than a former Scientologist. I don’t go around saying hi I’m so and so the anti Scientologist. People are so much more and don’t want to be all about Scientology. As former cos, I’m sure that’s not their complete purpose in life anymore. ❤ Actually I find that all of y’all that have channels are smarter than a lot of ppl out there who have tons of schooling.
How it ends could be a court judgement (and then precedent) against the cults arbitration requirements. This could unlock the floodgates for lawsuits by ex-members.
I don’t think anything has been a failure in this protest. It’s a learning process imo. It’s brought ppl together, fed ppl, and most importantly, flustered Scientology. It’s showing that their tactics are not working so much anymore. I call all of that a win. Imo ❤❤
Great video! It’s always useful to put things in perspective and remind us what we are here for so we can each refocus on the goals we set for ourselves. (Sorry for my bad English. What I know? I grew up in a French Canadian family )
I've watched you for a while now. I'm Catholic. I've learned so much from your channel. I'm happy that you seem happy. You are a success story. Doing the right thing. I say Good for YOU😍
26:00 this is why I love this man! Yes, AAron, it's true. If enough of us, over long enough period of time keep flooding the web with truth about CO$ then we can create massive change. This #SPTV movement is like that tiny sliver of a shim a lumberjack taps into the cut that with one solid blow will fell even the tallest trees. Just a thin wafer is all we need! 😊
Would probably be difficult to take their tax exempt status back because so many people with power use religion to grift (not just scientology), they don't want to risk it. I hope I'm wrong and that it's possible and politicians would listen.
My other message disappeared when I hit enter. Here we go again. #replay from Canada 🇨🇦 *****I hope you and Jenna were able to have some fun times together these past few days ❤ Aaron you truly deserve it. You have very broad shoulders dealing with undeserved criticism everywhere you turn. Some people are just so pathetic, jealous, petty and immature . I have great respect for everything you have accomplished and continue to achieve❣️👏👏👏
Long-time viewer here and sometimes poster and happy to see you keep up the awesome work of informing people about Scientology. It went from that weird thing Tom Cruise was into to learning just how awful the organization is. I credit you for that and the other ex folks too. You guys all add a different spice to the recipe of ending Scientology and I'm here for it.
That " other Defendant" tells people " if you aren't arrested you're not protesting right " he's basically telling people he's the king protester by virtue of his swatting and ruining peoples fun
@@cama6381 Exactly he's made it all about HIMSELF .It's been reported that he has in fact had a friend call in swatting incidents on himself, he's all about the MONEY Drama , CLICKS ,EYEBALLS
100%. Very wealthy people are desperate to donate vs fork cash over to the government. If they can no longer get a tax deduction from f sciento, they will donate elsewhere....hmmmm...Salvation Army? United Way?
We create a political action committee, XenuPAC to sponsor candidates who take it seriously. I wrote letters to my Senators to urge them to look into the Co$ and FLDS for their abuses, response was just word salad, but we can start to put pressure on our elected officials.
What really needs urgent investigations is the relationship between Co$ and law enforcement agencies, specifically LAPD and the police department that serves Hemet and the CST facilities. There is no way they are turning a blind eye out of the goodness of their hearts. We need state and Congressional hearings on the ongoing cozy relationship between the Church and law enforcement.
There's the Mormons jehovis witnesses too they all need stopped especially the evangelists who make billions off their members got private jets etc is disgusting you can see it all I just can't believe it.
I just wanted to let you know, as someone who lives right in the middle of the USA, you don't have to file with the IRS. This is a voluntary system. When you figure out the difference between laws and rules, you'll stop messing with them too. I have not dealt with them in 6 plus years! Everyone complains all the time about Amazon not paying any federal income tax. They're not special; they're just not stupid! - love your vids BTW
You have been doing it right all that needs to be proven is the crimes committed and the cover-ups by Scientology with inscrutable evidence. You could get your YT channel declared a religious organization with the right amount of paperwork. The best way to get tax exemption removed is to prove it's not a religion it's a criminal enterprise.
Impossible Goals: True, dat. Anyone trying to eat a 16" pizza in one bite will choke them to death and accomplish nothing. BUT, eaten one bite at a time, shared with others...it's gone. Eventually. 😁 I know...profundity and motivational speaking is not my thing. But...baby steps.
You are probably right. This is what mainstream churches are afraid of. If one organization loses tax exempt status they all will. The ole slippery slope argument
Well, the result of that would be the elimination of so many groups that serve mankind. Groups that really do so much to help people would probably cease to exist if donations to them were no longer tax deductible. Think United Way, St. Jude's Hospital for Children, Salvation Army, the Heart Association, The March of Dimes, Boy and Girl Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, CancerCare, Archewell Foundation...oh, wait.
Having the money assets frozen will help. Please let the DOJ know of the abuses in Scientology. The IAS funds were incorporated here in Delaware. Fat Grammy has done a lot of research.
Someone somewhere has to get the info to a serious investigative reporter or a important congressman or a highly respected celebrity just to get the word out all over everywhere and maybe it gets to somebody with power
In my understanding, it would be helpful if we approach our policy makers and attempt to get their response on the record to the following question, or something very much like the following question: "Would you be willing to consider supporting hearings in regard to reviewing Scientology's tax-exempt status?"
Keep writing to YOUR U.S. Representative in the House. Don't even email. Find your Rep's D.C. address by entering your zip code at house d-o-t gov. Handwrite your letter, include your address so they know you are in their district. Have everyone in your family write to THEIR representative--by real, U.S. mail. Say you are concerned about the international human trafficking, child s#xual abuse, elder abuse, and false imprisonment carried out daily by $cientology and that you would like to know if they (your Rep) would be in favor of Congressional hearings about this kind of a group having IRS tax exemption. Those guys on Capitol Hill have staff who log every piece of correspondence by subject matter. Help that $cientology stat grow! When they see that number increasing, it will get their attention. Toss something in the mail to them every Monday or Friday.
"...This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends. Not with a bang but a whimper." - 'The Hollow Men' by T.S. Elliot The Stuffed Men's world.
It seems to me Mike Rinder probly had a Front Row seat to the goings on in regards to COS tx exempt crusade . Why doesn't he talk about it . I've never heard him discuss the particulars .We know that the marching orders came from OSA . Would those orders be in the OSA files ?
@@reneepolin6549 they sued the IRS, then they sued every employee of the IRS they could (they had members personally sue them), thousands of lawsuits, then they said "if you give us tax exemption we will make them all disappear"
Vote with your wallet! STOP going to or watching anything that a Scientologist stars in or works on! I haven’t seen anything with any Scientologist in it for years and it pains me because as a child I loved Mission Impossible and hate that Cruise ruined it for me but I refuse to contribute in any way to him or this cult!
Aaron, I know exactly what you're saying, and I'll tell you the truth if you weren't doing things that were fun for you, it would not be fun for us. I think of you as a friend. I think of Natalie and Nora as friends, but why do this is because I can't even understand the need not to do it. To allow what's going on in Scientology to go on the way they are without doing everything I possibly can to help is unacceptable to me. I'm a goof around yes I asked Nora to adopt me. But it hurts my heart to know that I can't do enough. So I tried to use any resources I have from my past going up in Hollywood to the point where I want to move back where I think I could be of more use. That's why I enjoy you bringing up stuff that matters to you because you know what so keep on doing what you're doing and thank you
I can't help, but when I see the TV screens inside the recruitment centers, I wish that Anonymous was still around and would take over them. Could you just imagine 😂 I'm a Never In ❤You guys
If writing (or even in person) would it be worth listing some of the wrongs and then going on to asking about tax exempt status. I only ask because so many hear sciento and are like i ain't getting sued, even though it's the emptiest threat
I agree, A-a-ron! Listened to this Live last night, but didn't have time to comment. No one should decide for someone else what they will do/not do with their YT account! What the heck is up with that little bit of stupid? Do they not have a life?!? When I hear/see the words "you should..." I just cringe. I *know* what's coming, usually. They want YOU to do something about their "great idea"! That way, if you "fail", they get to crow -- instead of eating crow. As sweet Natalie says: "You do YOU, Boo!" Stick to your guns, A-a-ron. You are NOT failing! You are VERY effective! 👍😊 Do what YOU know you're best at doing! That way, you will be more effective than if you blindly step out of your wheelhouse, having no idea what to do. And that holds true for everyone.
I doubt COS will cease to exist. Cults are not based in rational thought and tend to show mystifying resilience. A good example is the Church of Christ, Scientists (Christian Scientists.) Over 100 years after its founder transitioned and despite having been branded a cult throughout its existence, it persists to this day with an estimated 100,000 members. All that being said, I admire and endorse the effort to out the Church of Scientology and end its abusive tactics.
Comment….I like this video….. delivery is a bit different, better!? Lots of info , a great video to show a under the radar person or family member having second thoughts Get rid of the cult!
2019 Daily Mail article from Valerie Haney talking about the last time Shelly was seen (other than Mitch): "Jane Doe, a woman who was formerly employed as the assistant to Shelly and David Miscavige, is suing the Church of Scientology for damages She lists 14 causes of action, including: false imprisonment, kidnapping, libel, slander, human trafficking and negligence Doe, who appeared in the Leah Remini series Scientology and the Aftermath and is now employed by the actress, escaped the Church by hiding in a car trunk She claims to have seen Shelly Miscavige on the day she was believed to have gone missing in 2006, though Scientology has denied she is missing Doe 'witnessed a dark-colored tinted vehicle pull up to the main building' at Scientology's Gold Base, at which point 'unidentified men dragged Shelly out' Shelly has not been seen in public since then and Doe says she never saw her in the 10 years she remained with the organization"
On a local level, would it make sense to approach local elected officials with just the lost revenue on the property taxes that COS is exempt from paying.
So true, but they are powerless to change anything. It is the status of a "religion" granted by the mighty (and by mighty, I mean gutless) IRS that keeps the FBI from going after f sciento for human trafficking, child s#x abuse, fraud, false imprisonment, racketeering, conspiracy, aiding and abetting, fill in the blank. The Feds are stopped because of our Constitutional right of freedom of religion. Once the FAKE religion status is taken away by the IRS.....WATCH OUT. After that, f sciento can fall just like the nxivm cult did. Nxivm leader Keith Raniere got 120 years at Club Fed.
COMMENT- Sea Org members are being recruited in African Countries (Not South Africa) online. Please find my email (sent a few weeks ago) for more info 😊😊 would love to talk to you about it and a protest I’m organising in MELBOURNE very soon ❤
