come on the world has change, the era you talking about is when pilots do the dog fight, these days the BVM missile can hit from 200KM. well now you have to see somebody first before they see you and fire your missile, and the other guy may not even know who or where i was hit from. All he will be doing is trying to escape from incoming missile if he is lucky, brave and skillful he can otherwise it will be game over. second even if we have F35, SR71 the problem is brother we do not have the base expertise to create them first. nobody is going to give you such technology because you are very handsome and want to rule the world

Since it's first flight in 2003, the JF-17: - Now serves with 3 countries; Myanmar, Nigeria and Pakistan with rumours of Argentina and Iraq also buying a full squadron. - Is combat proven (It has scored 1 air to air kill against an Iranian UAV and a couple JF-17s from the No. 16 Squadron also bombed Indian military targets in Occupied Kashmir during Operation Swift Retort not to mention Nigerian thunders using Precision Guided munitions against boko haram.) - The Jeffs offer good technology and weaponry at reasonable costs along with cheap maintenance costs. Despite Indian propaganda, the fighters rarely faced any operational issues. - An agile dogfighter; with the airframe inspired from the F-16, the Jeff holds the potential to be an aggressive dogfighter with high turn rates. If this doesn't prove the JF-17 is a successful project, you gotta see a psychologist.
