Very nice content 🙂 I agree with you! During the last year I tried to sign my music with big/medium labels and the best thing that I made, it was to change my strategy and start to release music by myself, doing promotion etc. Now I do both... self release and labels release (only the ones I know they get my some extra exposure) in order to feed the Spotify Algorithm. My best advice is to release music every 5/6 weeks, if you don't have a label deal, do it by yourself...you have to be your first fan and invest on your career. Really like your music by the way, keep up the good work
I'm a musician too and I'm still learning and hopefully someday I'll make it but you're right. I know there's a way to change that someday where we can earn more and what not...Anyway to me you're underrated and I appreciate you bro. Keep on going!
Such an amaizing video and useful information!! I’ve never seen an artist from your size to do what you’ve done, that’s why I don’t mind buying your packs without discount!
Amazing video, great work! Amazing information about how much Spotify pays, can you make a video about your full catalog as you talked about in the end of the video. I think artist should be payed more, since making music isn't easy.
also keep in mind that people in "richer" countries pay more per subsription, hence they can pay out more money from those countries. Eg. A subsription in norway costs way more than a subscription in eg. india
I only have one Q. How is it possible that you have releases through labels without splitting percentages? Like ur recent track on NCS, shouldn't splits normally be involved? :D
@@JayEskarYT Ahh okey, well then I understood you wrong when u explained the percentages! Thanks for clearing that up man. Dope walkthrough on the drop schedule
Hello Jay, there is a question. For example, my friend and I created a track, and we want to put it on all platforms, and I became interested in how the income from auditions is divided, is it divided by half or how, and he also uses another distributor (I am a tuneсore and he is a distrokid). I will be grateful for the answer. P.S Sorry, I'm using a translator) but I hope you understand me!
thanks for the information😊 i have a question. im from south korea. is it possible to get share from labels by releasing music when im not from north/south america, europe?
Hi Jay how is things going these days? :) i have a question again and it's pretty simple one... is sending demos to multiple labels at same time a bad thing? should i just send to one or two labels at once and wait for a week or two for response? thanks bro..!
Jay i have one more question.. if i don't have a spotify artist account, will labels decline my tracks? should i upload by distrokid and delete a song just for sake of making my own spotify artist page? by the way thank you for the reply above🙂🙂
