Prices are ridiculous for some of them - I was happy to get the Stan Solo versions (which are excellent and saved me a heck of money!). Look even better on the shelf as they are so minty fresh! Remember: Collect how you want to collect. Don't let others set the rules!

Hold out for quality, completeness and fair price. Good advice! It’s much more expensive and frustrating to piece higher end figures together with their accessories vs buying them complete. Keep up the great videos!

The reason the SW Kenner Vintage Last 17 is so expensive both loose and carded is this was Kenner's last lineup. George Lucas announced that there will be no more SW movies and wanted to cancel the line. Kenner, however wanted to give one last wave and decided to make it limited, so that way there will be no more peg warmers at retail. Anakin Skywalker MOC and Luke Skywalker in Stormtrooper are the most expensive because they were the last figures to produce. Yak Face on the other hand was only made for Asia and Canada. Always check websites and price guide books for up to date on value.

TVC is $31.99 up here in Canada at toys R us. It's too expensive now. I have to choose more carefuly now, but to be honest, none of the figures coming out interest me anymore.

Nice points Michael. I am with you all the way. I am so glad not to be chasing down pre-orders anymore. It is just so much more fun taking your time and not being pressured to buy. Went on a hunt myself today at an antique store. No finds but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Always have enjoyed watching your hunts. My real grail is the vinyl caped Jawa. Someday my friend!

Crazy how much these figures cost. Totally agree about the modern figures. It’s no longer fun thanks to Hasbro and Disney.

Ohhh Mikey... 😢😢😢 These are crazy prices my man... EV 9D9 does not surprise me at all, because it's basically the only figure I don't have out of the standard 98 or so (including original R2 and C3 not on the 96 cardbacks)

I just hit a gold mine with a storage unit I bought for $70. The whole last 17 is in it and some first 12. Already sold sise Fromm with his coin for 1000. Came here to see about weapons

It's a good point you make about the pressure and deadlines of collecting. Not sure I've given that much thought tbh... I've enjoyed the recent lull in the BS line since the turn of the year, but instead of "resting" I've used the time to buy older BS in larger quantities than usual, so it's a bit of a moot point.

Vintage Kenner collecting is fun. I only have 5 of the last 17 so far. $625 is crazy though.

I've got 8 left o get of the last 17. Yeap, they are expensive for sure. I'm curious as to how mych Amananan is. There is no right or wrong way to collect....it's all about personal preference.
