@@angelstyle9677 space is good and all but sometimes you have all the space in the world and the healers don't care about healing cuz they are fighting random wrecking balls or just being a dps support

@@luissantos5757 sure. I guess supports should just ignore being dived. If you ignore dive characters, they just go away I guess. I do agree dps supports are annoying. DPS only if your team is full health or not in danger of dying. If you’re mid-fight, supports should be healing.

No. Did I say tanks need to help if supports are being dived or pressured? Also no. Did I even say tanks *should* help supports at all? You guessed it, no. Quick hypothetical: you’re playing as tank and during a fight, you notice a support is far enough from their team and you decide to pressure them. What would you expect the supports reaction to be? If you thought they would completely ignore you and that they would just continue to heal their team, then please tell me how your bronze matches have been going lately.

Virtually every support hero has a use, with some comboing better with certain tanks over others. I understand the feeling whenever I play DPS, even as a support main who knows how much healing the average support player pumps out, but without you asking your team or more importantly being in a visible position for heals. You'll come up short every time, and it only gets worse the higher ranks you get. If healing's that big a problem for you in games, try playing sombra and hack healthpacks when you see them. After only a few games per map, you'll learn some healthpacks you may not have known existed, and they'll be more easily accessible. Even as a plat support (especially since so many supports have self sustaining abilities) I didn't know where mostly all healthpacks were until I started trying to learn sombra.

Oh what I would do to be able to get back to Diamond and get away from the 0 heals supports and 0 damage dps on my teams.

Stuck in Dia and either dominate completely or get recked and hated because people still dont know that rein has to be played super aggressive like he is doom or monkey. I expect that from golds but why people dont get it in dia? Playing slow with a poke comp wont get you far after diamond or am I wrong and games in masters or higher are slow and passive poke frontline vs frontline games too?

I climbed from Bronze 1 to Plat 3 currently almost entirely as Reinhardt, but if I charge in with only 341 hp, I'm going back to spawn.

you hold down right click whilst holding up your shield and then look around, you should experiment it as it really does come in handy :3

You could just change the horizontal and vertical sensitivity , I tried it at max for both and was good. You could easily get lost but in terms of barrier speed and protection I thought it was a lot better that way. Also those charge ,180 º ultimate drop feel good

alot of this was "the enemy team was playing in a very unproffessional way" multiple points of the video, no one was using cover, multiple out of position characters that should be near at least someone like zen. there are multiple cuts to different games to show off how "good" the character is but those are like plays of the game when 90% of the game is just the character getting destroyed. none of the enemy teams focused on the tank. in low ranked games, i can lose all of my health in 2~3 seconds becuase the enemy team knows when that sheild drops, kill. that is post patch where the health is now 700 the video showed off some of the character's weaknesses, such as side stepping. you can side step the charge sometimes, but it didn't show how buggy it was. the team playing actually had a "fully support the tank" comp, and were playing against teams where this was wholey unneccissary.

okay so this "how rein should be played" in overwatch 2 is horrible, yes he was popping off and making big plays but look how they all start with a charge into the backline, hmm kinda like a dive tank...rein is only good in O2 if he is super agro and plays like a Winston or doom, what happened to TANKING and holding your ground...the answer is O2 is too DPS focused and too fast for a true tanking hero...I love rein and got GM many times in O1 as him but cannot play the same way in O2 because of the nature of the game, rein needs a new kit to perform as how HE WAS INTNEDED...buff the shield so he can make space with it and make him swing faster so his mire presence is striking fear into the enemies, he gets melted if he brawls...1v1 he is strong but that's not how rein should be played, remember "be their shield" yeah Goodluck with that half the attacks go through it first off and then they melt it and you drop it to attack and half the roster is double the speed and has a escape move, so overall rein is good if you play him not as intended because the game doesn't suit that play style anymore and it's a shame...BE THEIR SHIELD

@@icarusgaming1886 ur missing something i think, no tank in the game tank by just tanking. its like saying u dont play support the right way if u do dps. u can shield ur team but its not how you get the most value out of the hero. u tank by forcing the ennemies to look at u, to use cds, to respond to ur pressure. shield team doesn't allow that. the shield guy is designed to be a close range threat with horizontal mobility and high close range damage and high close range sustain with shield. the shield is designed to allow urself to be aggressive so u do more pressure so u create space

@@_m_5129 it's an interesting take. I'm trying to find videos to watch to understand how to main Rein better, and it's true I play him too much on the defensive or dive too far at one point out of frustration. Thanks for the explanation.
