You have to remember that the US President is called the leader of the free world. His protection isnt just an American issue, as many nations in the world would be affected by his loss.Donald Trump shopped around like the good business man he is, and made a deal for the 2 used planes that he bought. There had been plans in place to buy a new plane and he wouldn't approve the purchase because the price was too high. There's an operating room on Air Force One - it's functional and not just luxurious. There's a video floating around that shows the inside of AF1 that y'all might like.
I remember back when Kennedy was president and we were caught off guard after realizing his trip to Russia has been compromised learning they were listening to our every conversation while in the cars they provided. Any President of this country, agree with him, like him, or not, deserves this kind of protection. So many haters our there, its necessary, and I dont mind if my tax dollars pay for some of it. We are American strong because of our ability to address appropriately, any situation which is needed for security. Being the USA President is mostly, a thankless and negatively unappreciated role. I dint know that i even knew how secure the US really was until these videos lol. But i dint think its too much. We've had assisination attempts with any less. Our president is and always will be number one secured package in America. Theres strategy to every move and every security personel officer. But itd what makes us so secure. Youre NEVER too secure as a much hated country lol. Sure many love us, but so many more hate us for different reasons. We are very proud to be able to afford this kind of security. And we all work hard to pay for it. Most of us love supporting our country and making the best it can be and the safest it can be for our future descendants. Our work laws are harder than most so dont think we get all this free time to enjoy it all. Lol. Some can, but most cannot. We often forget how fortunate we really are here.
I live in Scranton, Pennsylvania - the hometown is both Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton. Not only have we seen this motorcade so many times, but also Air Force One flying over our house as we live near the airport. We lose all internet service when AF1 is coming or leaving until the jet is out of their service area. No one can try to hack into our 'White House in the air' with no internet. It's all about the security of our President and our country!

When I was in NYC, was just walking. Around w one of my uncles & we stumbled on trump tower w the streets blocked & a ton of police & gov agents. Shortly after a convoy rolled up & I saw pence going into trump tower. Asked one of the secret service agents behind the barrier “what’s going on” he looked at me stone cold & said “I don’t know”, well obviously he knew damn well what was going down but I got the message, screw off kid. Turns out it was trump announcing pence as his VP. You don’t don’t even wanna know how extreme it was when a Clinton came to our hometown, Wont expose the US gov but their security is, comprehensive to say the least. An assentation of a US President, well I just suspect it might be noticed and have repercussions to say the least. Keeping them safe, yes even the ones you don't like, is one of the highest priorities of our entire law enforcement, and military branches along with the CIA, FBI, NSA. It is just cheaper to do this, than tab would be for whoever decided to die early. We would not take it lightly.

Fun fact, Trump paid for those two planes himself, because he thought they were to expensive for us, the American people to pay for them. Also, he only excepted $1.00 per month or year while he was in office. He didn’t want to except any money, but they told him he had to except a salary because he was working, soooo, hence the $1.00 salary. He also is the only American President that came out of office, worth less than when he went in. All others are worth more when they come out, I mean it didn’t hurt Trump to much, because he is still a rich man. But that matters when you have multiple multimillionaire businesses.
