Chicken rice is usually eaten for lunch or dinner. For breakfast, we usually have nasi lemak, kaya toast with half boiled eggs, roti canai, dim sum, bbq pork steamed buns, any noodle dishes, chee cheong fun, just to name a few.

A beutifull river view makes me feel calm even walking under the heat of sun. That's one of the reasons why tourists love to come nd relax here during their visit to Malaysia, a Truly Asia👍👍👍
I think generally the local Malaysian Chinese and Indians just use usual English greetings, whilst the local Malaysian Malays use the national language more in greetings
Basically, Cendol is green jelly like noodles that made from Pandan leaves extract, rice flour & a few other ingredients...Usually, Cendol is served with cooked matured coconut milk, melted coconut palm sugar(dark brown in colour) & shaved/grated ice...other condiments it just an optional, not compulsary... 😊
Chinese Temple is so calm and peaceful perhaps following the principals of Siddhartha Gautama (Lord Buddha) whereas, Muslim Masjid was reciting a prayer in the same neighborhood with the loud speaker on. Two Different religions & their completely different way of practicing peace & praying. Quite a diversity there.
the hollywood movie 'entrapment' which starred catherine zeta-jones and former james bond 007, sean connery (also of 'indiana jones & the last crusade') was filmed in malacca at the river seen at 33:33, and featured theme music by seal 'i have lost my faith' for the film (no hollywood movie was ever shot in singapore! every hollywood actor, actress, director, producer, animator, movie studio, animal actors all shun singapore! & love to hate singapore!)
thank you, other hollywood actors in that 'entrapment' movie were- will patton (of 'the mothman prophecies') & ving rhames (of 'mission impossible') & was seen with sean connery at malacca river, bar scene in that 1999 movie

Hi both, I am due to be going to Singapore (and possibly Malaysia) at the end of the month. I have noticed you both have eaten a lot of poultry. are there many pescatarian options out there as I do not eat meat. Please let me know and show some fish (if that's ok)
Beware of the infamous riksha guys, they are a cheat. You get the price for an hour and they make sure that you don’t get out after an hour and then charge you another hour straightaway. Walking is nicer anyway.
Our experience was great because we just paid for the quick ride exactly to the place we wanted to go to 😌 I would advise to pay upfront not to come across unpleasant situations.
Just a pro tip eating Malaysian food you need to assemble the food for example lil bit of the sambal, rice, veges in 1 spoon and eat it, same goes to chicken rice etc cheers ❤
We've had it many times since it's Karolina's favourite! But I need to admit that the Chicken Rice Balls were tasty too! Definitely something different of us 🤭
