We need to name & shame these crooks which begs me to question, Is there a way you could check or test your local organic medication first before using it on your animals? It might be a suggestion to create your own mini laboratory yourselves to produce your own effective organic treatments? Let's continue to learn from & work with one another.

Thank you for the frankness Grafton. It hurts the players but reality needed to come out. Our farm has gone through these failures. We brought in consultants who couldn’t tell what the issue was; collected blood samples and took 2 weeks to have the results out. Diagnosis was low blood levels. The cause of Anaemia… the consultant told us to experiment on the diet and gave Interflox to treat opportunistic infections. We lost the full generation of 38 goats aged 7 months. Later we did a photo google search only to discover that Flukes are killing the farm. We were quite on schedule on deworming but the infestation was getting worse. Is summary, we did our own diagnosis, consulted a Vet friend and she gave us a winning formula: very tedious but extremely effective. We are very generous with this discovery for anyone farmer who is going through what we experienced. Same thing with cough. The recommended medicine in the market doesn’t help at all. Fake medicine is in every shelf. It’s just devastating.

My experience is that in Africa the enforcement agencies don't punish offenders so, 'A luta continua, Vitória é certa', 'The struggle continues, victory is certain', hopefully someday soon. As a team you guys are the greatest. Once again you guys just brought out a repository, an encyclopedic Metadata from the anal reason we aren't as effective as we can and should be on the continent. People need to speak up and regulatory agencies needs to be called out. Thanks a million guys, it will get better soonest, thanks again.

Value Farm, I feel sad to hear your story on this particular episode. This problem is not unique to Uganda alone. It is rampant in many African countries such as Ghana, and Nigeria . The unethical practice is so huge that it takes someone like you to endure this long in that part of the world. I am African American from motherland, and I have had my share of the bad experience in Ghana when people destroyed our infrastructures, go to Nigeria they just wiped out a $200 million resort without empathy. Now you can see why we are scared to come back and face the shenanigans that those you are talking about don't care or have empathy for. There are so many like us wanting to come back to that continent and invest, but believe this - we don't have the energy to tackle the enemies within while we blame others. I really hope for your continuous success in that continent. I will always love Africa in my heart but I don't have energy to fight unwinnable war. I still come for vacations and I will leave it like that.

Fantastic information. My piglets took too long to recover from diarrhea despite medication and cleaning. Obviously from the look of things the medication was fake and I suspected it but now I know it must be true

Sorry about what happened. If you think there are ineffective drugs on market, kindly talk to National drug authority. They will help and do tests on those drugs. You can whatsup me and i will share a contact of the person in charge. Though what i have also noticed most of us farmers misuse these drugs. If you are struggling with worms, i can help on this bse i have faced the same early last year
