@@lulabelle11 It’s gross to treat a minor like an adult? So if haneul happened to go to a country where an adult is 18 she’s an adult. What’s the big deal lmao?
@@stantxtstraykidsandseventeen Yes, that’s what I said. The big deal is that kpop stans are entirely too comfortable sexualizing idols who are minors in SK once they a certain age they personally think is acceptable to do so. She literally can’t even watch r-rated things, drink, or do almost anything without her parents consent in her home country and you think she's grown? I really hope you’re just an ignorant minor…
@@stantxtstraykidsandseventeenI'm sorry but why are you arguing with them? They aren't wrong technically, and it's about different cultures and what is acceptable in different cultures. you seem like the same person to talk about everything being cultural appropriation yet ignore Korean culture because "if they were in the west". They aren't in the west, they aren't in a different country, and the country they are working in has specific laws including more recent laws made regarding minors working in the industry. In the country she is working in, she is a minor. In the country she was born in, she is a minor. In the country where she literally lives, works, and has a citizenship, there are laws and age requirements that say she is a minor. You don't go to other countries and start saying "oh, this kid can get married because the age of an adult in a different country is 7" now do you? Its the same concept yet y'all have an issue that an eighTEEN year old is not seen as an adult in the country they are literally born and raised in. Be fr Why are you even arguing with them when what they are saying is completely correct lmao It is absolutely disgusting to treat a minor or any age as an adult quite frankly, because they mentally are not in an adult state most of the time, and often times lack common sense. This may be why I assume you are a minor yourself
The fact that the maknae could easily be the oldest member in some kpop groups… Edit; I did not mean to start an argument in the replies it was just me exaggerating
@@foreverrweareyoung What are you talking about? Minji and Hanni are '04 and Danielle(April '05) is a month older than Haneul(May '05). That's 3/5 NewJeans members older than her lol
@@lulabelle11when newjeans debuted minji had just turned 18 (bday in May and they debuted in july, same thing for haneul) so they were the same age when they both debuted
@@stanoliveoilroadtreego3165 But I was talking about currently since that's what OP is talking about. I can't find any current groups where the oldest is younger than Haneul so I was asking where they've seen them and NewJeans is not it. There's also a difference between Minji debuting as the oldest of her group versus Haneul being the maknae of hers and them debuting at the same age.
@@bangtanarmytan4199 yes. I read an article where the most common birthdates were listed. Most of them were in May. May 7th, my brother's bday, being number one.
@@Clelia16erm no, if we're talking in the world, the most births are in August. A lot of Leos and Virgos. A lot of people getting it on in Thanksgiving or Christmas time lol
@Bannysadkosays2u KPOP doesn't mean Korean singers, it means Korean pop, so as long as all/majority of the songs have Korean, it's a true kpop group in my opinion
(formerly) in korean age 18 would be 19 edit: please read, i said formerly, im not saying korea still uses korean age, i know they use international age that's why i said formerly edit: please stop telling me korea changed the age system 😭 😭 i already stated that through the first edit and the word "formerly" in the original comment !!
Yeah like how can she is be 152cm when she and natty basicly are looking like they have the same height😅😅 also i don't think there are many female kpop idol that have height shorter than 155cm.
@@kpopisntkpopping1615most groups debut with minors? Le sserafim, illit, Newjeans, Ive, gidle, twice, Izone, bts, wonder girls, Itzy, enhypen, wonder girls, nct dream, TVXG, Cherry bullet, fromis_9, TEEN TEEN, rocket punch, treasure13, txt, Nct, x1. I just named 22 groups, so really is it just a few?
@@Flwrtzu u misunderstood the comment. This person said i wish more groups will debut with members over 20, and i said theres only a few who didn;t which is groups like newjeans who all debuted under the age of 20
@@Flwrtzu lesserafim, ive, gidle, izone, wonder girls (idk about the other groups) had members who were over 20 when they debuted??? yh theres a few who don't but most do
@@texaskteaAnybody did that? Nope, dude Lisa ain't the only female thai idol. You've got some more and they all slay in bangs. Natty is just added to the Thai Queens.
I'm actually very happy to see Natty doing so well, after going through the Sixteen competition so freaking young and being a foreigner to boot. I couldn't imagine how hard that was for her. Looking forward to this group's future!
Haneul isn’t just maknae she is lead vocalist and visual, Natty is sub vocalist to, and Julie is sub-vocalist as well. Also Julie’s height is 162 cm I believe, Haneul is 168 cm, and from what I have heard Belle is 167 cm but I’m not sure. 😊
@@Sakkurros_ I know, and I wasn’t disagreeing with you. I was just telling you what I heard. I’m pretty sure it’s right since that fan is the same one who first shared which members are roommates and the members confirmed they were right recently, so they most likely got the heights from the members themselves. Haneul is not the visual, though. None of the members are but if I were to guess based on Korean beauty standards it’d be Belle.
Well you're still supporting minors if you stan them, their maknae is still a minor. There's nothing wrong with supporting minors tho, I understand you probably mean all 12-16 years old kids
@@HeejinLee-zl6gv That doesn’t make sense !,and what is wrong with too much Thai idols debuting ?,and there are even more Japanese idols than Thai idols,as long as those Thai idols are talented,I don’t think we should care about how many of them are debuting, unless you are anti-Thai.
love how theyre actually adult not minors edit: i just dont like how some agencies treat minors it disgusting minors themselves are ok and no hate to them but the agencies treating them disgusting is not ok
@@lulabelle11 but the age system changed in Korea the only reason why 20 was considered an adult is because they would also be an adult internationally but now the age system has changed so in Korea 18 is an adult
@@sergio_07829it’s 19 over there. 19 intl age now that Korean age has been taken away. And they weren’t bc all the other ages would be different. Belle would be 20, Natty would be 22 and Julie would be 24. I know this bc I’m 03 and would be 21 Korean age so Natty can’t be 21 as an 02 and we both born May as well.
@@lulabelle11ait then can you explain to how Koreans on Jan 1st of the year they are 20 gets cards that let them drink and everything? Like someone born on Dec 31st would be 18 years and a day old on Jan 1st but considered legal enough to have a card and drink? But then what happens on Dec 31st for them? They are more legal than before? Like for example I’m born in May so in 2022 the year I would’ve turned legal in sk I was only 18 years and 7 months but I would’ve been allowed to drink. And they also have that coming of age ceremony in May to officially celebrate with family and friends, but what about those born after both of those events?
holy shit this song slaps! is this their debut song? problem with producing bop like this right from the start is it's gonna be hard to top it but i hope they do! highly anticipating their endeavor ~
Finally a group that doesn't debut a literal child. They also have a talented song writer with beautiful voice. I'm gonna stan this group, I miss natty so much.
their choreo is so playful and dynamic,, i love their concept so much!! and props to their agency for debuting idols who aren't in middle school (or high school at that) ‼️‼️
The first time I heard the title track, I was like I had to get it. I love the different vibes of them as a group and in their solos. My CD is on the way! 🔥🔥🔥🔥💃💃💃💃💗💗💗💗
Maknae is trying very hard to be sexy here lol the amount of wink, tongue sticking out and expressions to be sexy and flirty in such a short clip lol awww that’s just precious

Kpop Stan's like to complain about company's debuting minors we are finally getting groups where there isn't I'm waiting for people to finally support groups like kiss of life, Fifty Fifty, BB girls and etc where every single member debuted over the age of 18. It's finally being normalised that kpop idols over 18 even 20 can debut
@@lulabelle11 they debuted in November and they were all 18 😭 if not they would still be minors because 2 of their memebers have birthdays in October which they turned 18, one memeber has their birthday in march which she turned 19 and one member is 21 but she was 20 when they debuted none of them were minors they are not even a year old as a group. I say over 18 because i do dance and to go get into a company you've got to be at 18 or over to even audition to be part of the official company's not programmes
@@lulabelle11 that's not how it works 🤦🏾♀️ look it up 18 in Korea is still not considered a minor you're still an adult. 20 is when you're able to give consent to sex all 4 were adults and even when they debuted they were all adults look it up and their ages in Korea are totally different from internationally so they would've still been adults 😭 18 is not a minor in Korea you're just now allowed to consent to sex please look it up all memebers of Fifty Fifty were not minors they are adults
@@lulabelle11I'm from Korea and that's not how it works they're still adults regardless you are still considered an adult in South Korea even thought you are 18 none of them are minors. @@lulabelle11 you are not considered a minor in South Korea you are not reading what I said you are not considered a minor. 1. Wait till you realize most idols are in depts and don't get any money until they pay it back. 2. It's a BUSINESS industry, minors shouldn't just massively enter it. It's toxic af and hard to survive even for adults. Definitely not a place to earn money as a minor
Julie is now my favorite because her birthday is almost the same day as me 😁 and almost all of my biases are rappers because that's what I like in an idol.
