She is incredible but she does have in ear monitors in with a click and probably a count down on when to come in, that’s why you see her cupping her ears in the beginning of the clip so she can hear it better
@@ReneAensland Thanks dude! Guys pls everyone plays with click nowadays, even lots of drummers with ear clicks don’t have a perfect sense of rhythm. I’m talking about her body moves that totally fit the rhythm right?
I see and hear a vocalist, can't hear or see the singer. Is it in monitors? Funny. When I was 20 you never saw chicks in the front 50 rows in case they got a makeup issue, 30 yrs has changed things a lot. #girtology
@turbochoochoo but the most commercial vocal track processing ever. Imagine what would happen if Lars got to sneak in at night and those reels were cued up....when i have been kidnapped and they put hysteria on, i sometimes wonder if it's actually Ric Ocasec's (R.I.P. you very gifted man) Unreleased heartbeat city pt2 that was released as a creativity- burnt out blind lion album,.. pay exorbitant fees to buy up some sure- fire singles, cut out one h/h and other digital drum building plugin, borrowed from sheena E' s studio progress setup for when she poured her sugar all over.... it... It would be cool to chuck st anger snare settings on, but cant see it possibly working, though. At least turn up the bass so its audible, A bit of "just- us" (as lars says) for Jayson.... Would be a good excuse to put a drum roadie in the budget going forward for the human- metronomic tripod if ever there was one. No Mananagement team could say no to that and not end up with another Dave grohl "free to be creative" compilation with all his hippest "artists", even with a new unsqueezed Lennon Pop jingle that Yoko insisted in being the one that slides those things up and down, and producing some horrid squeaks etc that finally answered that question.... wtf is that Cher plugin on 11 actually for, which almost makes a creative new sound,, and though not really of any real progression on putting your 20+ yr old 8-track reel through an x-ray machine before attempting to even decipher its contents.......
@@TriggerFingerRC same. But what strikes me is the unique way she interprets the sound of the music. Not just in this performance, but many of clips. It’s just cool to see
I kid you not I was there for this and she was looking me dead in the eyes for most of this outro. Everyone around me was moshing. I was the only one standing still 😂😅
@Earthwitch Art? I guess someone with your username WOULD consider this art. However, it ain't by any stretch of the imagination or by any definition of the word. At least from the little I heard in this one-minute clip. All I heard was noise.
@@lateralus_9238 Anything other than this noise. Even trash in a dumpster is art compared this crap. And if you consider this art, then I question not only your horribly ridiculous taste in music, but your general assessment of art in general.
@@honzahotek I don't disagree about art being subjective. And there is good and bad art. But what the fuck is musical about this screaming woman? I'm a real musician (no, I'm not rich and famous, so don't even go there, because that has nothing to do with it), and there is absolutely NOTHING musical in the little bit of screaming that I heard in this clip.
@brunojardimavaz6109 Vocalist? Being from Brazil, it's possible that English isn't your native language. But a vocalist is someone who sings, not someone who screams. Someone who screams is either a mental patient, in danger or pain and in need of assistance in some say, just some incredibly angry person, or all three. This "inspiration" of yours seems to be all three. She sounds mental, needs help for it, and must be incredibly angry to get up on a stage and do this for a living.
For a little while I thought there was a male vocalist for this reason but god when I realized it was her I was like 😲 gah dayum that’s talent!!! I was literally blown away!!!
@Yes-kg3eu Im not even the biggest fan of Spiritbox but im blown away by songs like Belcarra, try to name ONE vocalist from any band that can scream anywhere near her level on that song. Or listen to her screams in Gift Of Death from when she was in IWABO. I don't know any male or female screamer that has screams as intense as Courtney's
Lmfao. You look at her and see someone who would have kids? I hope this isnt just misogynist brain defaulting to what it thinks women are made for. Not to say she wouldnt ever have kids i just think this comment isn't.. necessary
Nice guys, got to hang with them at Mike Portnoys house after they played at (now defunct) Crock Rock back when Mike Stringer and Courtney were in IWrestledABearOnce. They’re married! They were super nice and came down to watch our set at the lower stage. Im sure they were glad to have a night not sleeping on the floor of their tour van. They are crazy good live
@zenorodgers5622 FINALLY! Someone who agrees with me! This WAS sick! But not in the good way you meant it. I don't know how I happened upon this clip, but it did sicken me to the point that I just had to troll a few sick people who enjoy this shit just to get it out of my system.
