"Bruises" and "Someone you loved" are both elite break up songs about getting dumped. Dumped by somebody he really feels strongly about. He really loves this woman and has been rejected. Lewis does an incredible job of digging deep into those feelings of rejection and abandonment. The song structure. The lyrics are top notch. Delivered with as much power and emotion as you can hear.

Someone you loved isn’t a breakup song, it’s about someone dying. He wrote it after his grandma died and he was close to her

What a great song and his delivery of his songs are next level. I was so surprised when I saw a few interviews with him and realized how quick witted and funny he is. I guess I just expected him to be so serious as his lyrics make me feel so deeply connected to them. He and Niall Horan had a show about them on a road trip together, only got to see a short clip but they were so funny. If anyone knows what the show was called please let me know would love to see more. Love your reactions Jimmy you never miss. Thanks so much. Peace, out. 😄🤗

I read somewhere that his Tourette’s is getting worse and he might not perform for much longer because of it 😢 I hope that’s not the case! He’s such a talented singer

I saw him on April 15th of this year, he had to end the show a few days early due to his ticks. He is wonderful live, and for the most part, he did say performing sometimes helps with the ticks, but I hope he doesnt have to stop, he is truly talented.
