I'm not religious, but wow! what a good song! it brings me a good feeling :D

I love this song in the sense that the song for me is an expression of youth's "world" and their language in thanking God for His Grace and Mercy. However, I just don't get it why should they show many meaningless clips such as when the girls just smiling and gagging and wearing God knows what in their shirts and jackets. Almost entire videos display earthly kind of fun. Don't get me wrong and label me "hater", I've been following God all my life and Hillsong is one of the best worship companion I've ever been with, but over the years, I witnessed some changes in them and frankly speaking, they kind of becoming more like a party-ready religious group. Their songs are all blessings in my personal life, but most of their videos like this one are not. Please show the young generation of this world that although following God is the best decision, it doesn't mean it is going to be fun all around, following Jesus means becoming like Him, not the world. Cheers... And ooh, the previous paragraph was written 2 days ago, so many people disagree and sort of threw many questions that try to corner me for stating what I said. Seriously, If you want to reply with loads of questions in order to leave me "lose the argument", by all means do it, I never consider this an argument in the first place, this is purely an opinion. Judging by other comments down below, I am not the only one with such opinion. I quoted one of my replier, his name is Nick, and he said something really good about the difference the disciples of Jesus showed when preaching the gospel. That is insanely true! and here we are, having differences in opinion when some may appear radically different than the other, and somehow everyone seems not to like it. How is it possible? Another commentator before me has been labelled "hater" by a youth that probably doesn't even understand the purpose of his good will in the message. So, if anyone read this long comment, please be fully understand about each and every comment you are about to reply. You don't have to be extremely hateful towards the very basic form of freedom, that is speech and opinion. I never said something bad about Hillsong young and free, and please look up to every replies in this comment. I explained almost everything questioned in my point. It's been a month since I wrote the comment, and I can't just believe what commotion it had made. In one side, I'm laughing so hard because I witnessed too many people and Christians could easily become hostiles to each other, especially in words, when they had different POVs. The same thing that made me laugh made me cry. What I understand from all these so called "debates" was that so many Christians forgot their ultimate goal, which is to glorify God. One person said things like "I can feel God while singing this song or that song", the other said "I can't find specific emotion through this song", why are these even came up to the surface? Praising and Worshiping God is all about Jesus, and it never talked about how youth's life revolves around music etc., because when one said that, it means that person didn't understand the purpose of worship. Want to prove me wrong? what is worship to you guys? I am one of praise and worship team in my Campus Ministry, and I will never forget when one of the most influential Christian worship band in my country came to our fellowship and shared the real value of worship I kept to this day. One of the Worship Leader said "What do you think is worship?" Many of us raised hands and answered "giving back our talents in music back to God" or "giving our best to Him". Then, he smiled and said "Guys, worship is not related with your talents, although those are very precious in His eyes. Worship simply means putting Jesus before yourself. Worship means shifting your attention from yourself to God." OOOOhhh, that stabbed me right in the heart and I never wanted to become the center of attention whenever He trusted me to led worship in any fellowship.Don't become biased just because you've had memories with Hillsong, maybe you've came to one of their concerts, or maybe you were an alumni of Hillsong College. If you do that, means you are looking up to men, not God. Stop being smart and judging me because you think I judged someone else's first... Please be literally smart and pray for wisdom before you reply. Especially for one person in the several last replies in my comment, which apparently considered as spams by RU-vid (not me, I never report any reply as spam). I’ve seen a lot of criticism about this song and video of how secular and worldly appears. It’s truly unclear what direction Hillsong Young and Free is taking with the song but I do know this, the lyrics are not sinful but God focused. Second, God made us all different. It’s very clear that we ALL love different types of Music. The word of God never tells us to stay away from certain types of music but to be God filled, to love the Lord with all of our hearts and love others the same. As long as we guard our hearts to the lust of this world and the temptations that is all around us, and not to live in sin then it shouldn’t matter what style of music we listen to as long as it directs our hearts and minds to God. Let’s remember that David danced before the Lord with all his might and he was criticized by the people. The ways of this world is robbing the youth from the path of God and the Lord will use anything to reach out to them. God does work in Mysteries way and we will never completely comprehend the ways of the Lord.

If only some ignorant people could see the impact their music has on young people especially in todays generation were people think that they need to drink and do drugs in order to have fun. Why can't christians have fun? Why can't we glorify God through the way we live out lives? As a 20 year old girl in this generation I am glad that they are making music like this that will encourage young people and show them that serving God is wonderful! I wish more young people would see this. When I am out with friends I will be jamming out to this in my car as loud as it goes lol I will show the world what living is really like.

I love the music video, and more importantly, the message behind it. This is living. Christianity is not boring, it's exciting. And it is also dangerous and risky. We live different from the rest of the world, but we can still have fun being in the world, not of it. These young people are doing that. To me, it shows everyday life, through a perspective that I see true life--living for Christ, not for myself. This video inspires me to live freely in a way that glorifies God, it symbolizes the freedom we have in our new, purified bodies to "go and sin no more". His love and grace lifts us higher--it's thanks to Him that we have the freedom to wake, live and testify to His Name! They sing a lot about freedom and happiness in living throughout this song. Although the visuals may not be of church, images of Jesus etc. I think it is really showing that these young people are Christians yet they aren't in a life of boring rules like many expect, yet they aren't doing anything such as drinking, drugs etc. but they are happy and they are free.

People always associated Christianity and religion with being conservative and confining. Like we are a slave chained to something that sucks the life out of you. That because I'm a Christian I can't do what's cool and fun. But they don't understand that we are the free one's. We were created to be love and to be joy for God. We're God's children! Don't parents feel an overwhelming joy when they see their child shine and be passionate for something? It's the same for God! And when he sees us living the life he blessed us with, and the way he intended it to be lived he is filled with so much happiness. God didn't make us to be alone and chained, but to be free.

Arguing about a video is one of the reasons the world doesn't want to be Christians, too many people saying what can or can't be. Remember, the conviction of the Holy Spirit impacts everyone in different ways. Let God convict them if the video is wrong, which personally I think the concept is awesome! We were dead before but now we are alive in Christ. Period.

I know Young&Free are their own branch of hillsong, but i prefer the genuineness of the classic praise and worship songs. I'm talking bout With Everything, From the inside out, All I need is You, etc. but I mean this song is kinda catchy too.. I just pray and hope that Hillsong Young&Free doesn't forget that it's not about the catchy music but it's all for God.
