@@mrdragoon2056 Basically Hoogland started this drama last year where he made a video "calling out" how baity the title and thumbnail of Alex's decks of the week, saying he is "showcasing decks that are not meta and telling them that they can use that to climb the ladder to infinite"... One of Hoogland's supporting criticism about Alex discussing about the meta is how he is not even at infinite yet talks as if he is (which is imo a weird thing to critic)... They eventually talked it out privately and are now in good terms according to Alex (but Hoogland is still an ass imo, and to those of you who will reply to this with their white knighting for Hoogland, idc you can continue praising your lord over there behind your walls of auto-blocks; coming from a Magic the Gathering sphere and is in Marvel Snap, I can say he's a smart player, yes, but not a good person)
Been playing this since the Cowbuff. It's my go-to falling asleep or not paying attention deck. I swapped Corvus for Giganto in case I don't draw Hela I can still play two 6 costs. Blink is the most replaceable card. I keep thinking of trying Black Knight or Ghost Rider. It is easy mode, though.
@malformedheader I also like Hulkling. He's an off chance to be another Hela if you don't draw her. Also, in one case, he was a Leader and copied my opponents Hela and won me the mirror match.
right? they somehow always draw blob and shang chi. i'm surprised if they don't have them both at this point. It's literally like when I'm vs negative they always have negative on turn 3 but when I play the deck its 10 retreats before I even see negative in my hand
I love this video, but I seriously can't stand Hela decks. They're way too strong for how stupidly easy they are to pilot. I feel like a scumbag playing it and hate playing against it
@@Alex-zi1nb the problem with Hela is that its a bully when it comes to snapping. If they discard 3 cards and 1 of them is not Hela, well then unless you have an amazing board state you have to retreat.... because Hela. Most of the time it doesnt matter what you do, the Hela player is doing solitaire and gets to snap for minimal effort.
@@WuRaidr and how is that different from playing vs a surfer deck, destroy, regular discard, or a negative, who draws well and dodges prio? The only real difference I can notice is that people can actually recognize hela's win condition and will retreat vs it, and then bitch online about how oppressive it is. Whereas with other decks they often don't realize they have already lost and will just stay, and possibly boomer snap, losing extra cubes.
@@simeon6669 All those other decks have counter play. Tell me the counter play to Hela. Clog. Thats about it that is reliable. People loved to say Cosmo ok, 1/3 chance of guessing the lane Hela gets played in.
Yeah I used a greedy Hela deck in the 90's and within a hour of playing, I hit infinite with dumb RnG luck. It's crazy. Hell Cow is crazy op in Hela. Always top deck hela too lol
I have not seen a single snap creator make stuff like u cozy I mean that 100% this is the type of stuff that is fun and creative instead of just gameplay thank u ❤
@@needlespoon4734 I know this is an unknown ideal to self righteous losers but you're actually allowed to bring people down in RU-vid comments! Surprisingly it's not illegal!
@@drewfinn5369 Cozy is awesome, no doubt. His videos are fantastic. But this is an objectively false statement just because it implies other creators DON'T put effort in. KMBest, just as one example, is extremely analytical with his deck videos, and in-depth breaks down each card's role in the decks he showcases.
Mailbox: Marvel Snap should add the feature to mail you the physical card (no stats because you know balance/nerf reasons) of what you buy. Buying a 30 dollar digital Sora card Vs. 40 dollar and includes physical would also increase sales. Price of course I hope wouldn't be crazy but just an example. Heck maybe even add an autograph tier.
No other deck feels as unlucky as playing Hela tho. I love discard in general but this week my unlucky-ness with playing Hela made me uninstall my app. Great video tho, Cozy.
Cozy I really like your editing and content creation. As a new Snap player but AVID youtube user it was awesome and pleasantly surprising finding a great consistent youtuber in this super niche thing.
0:50 I really appreciated you going gender-neutral describing an opponent. So many times players default to he/him, this actually felt like a breath of fresh air. Love your content btw!
It’s a leech meta!!!! And cozy I have the deck for you! KP, KROG, Silver S, Thena, grand master, white widow, cass, bigger krog, ab man, dark hawk, LEECH. Please try!
Hey cozy question Is there a glitch going on with lady sif? Cause when I use her, she'll destroy my hela instead of my magneto or my death? And her cards says to discard MOST from your hand.
You can use anyone, really. Black Knight, Ghost Rider, another big power card like Red Hulk. Blink is really only there if you can't get Hela through Jubilee or she isn't in your deck.
I just wanna play a normal hela deck that is not broken, challenge impossible for SD, i been barely playing the game recently but the new activate cards brought me back, i enjoyed move & now im enjoying hela, it just sucks that poor design will have her deleted from the game once again..
Since I didn't have Blink, I subbed in Death, which worked out bc with it I can play Lady Sif without worrying about my Hela getting discarded. With this deck, I got to Infinite for the first time ever. THANKS, HELA!
Thanks for the video, it was very well done. I've definitely been running into this deck a fair amount recently, and I'm starting to wonder if Hela has a secret line of code that ensures my opponent always starts with her in their hand or draws her by turn 6. ;) I'm not sure what to do if this deck becomes a problem, or more of a problem; possibly limit the number of cards Hela brings back, or perhaps they can only be brought back in the other two locations, if possible. That would make Hela more predictable, and give opponents better opportunities for counter plays.
Does the problem only lie in difficulty? Cause it's not like it has an especially high winrate, most of the top 10 most played decks have a higher winrate than this deck. This deck is more akin to regular Kazoo decks.. I used to run agatha in those because aslong as cards are being played it just kept winning me games no matter where I played them.
Here’s the thing though…here’s the silver lining…Hell Cow IS finally good…I think that’s impressive; hopefully they can fix this without feeling like activate hellcow was a bad idea..
