Never in a million years, did I think I'd ever hear a BUTCHY KID skit, about Slender Man, breaking into a house to make food, covered by an A.I. voice of MF DOOM
Slenderman going from being an all powerful evil that kidnaps kids to a mildly frustrating home invader that steals food he can’t even eat is the character arc we didn’t know we needed
It's an important touch that after ejecting the home invader MF DOOM still rhymes while gather himself and surveying the damage to his priceless kitchenware.
What’s so fascinating about this is that it sounds like something he would actually come up with. The AI did such a good job recreating his voice that it sounds real, but in reality it’s from some other series of videos. Furthermore, the beat from One Beer goes so well with it. And the animation on top of it all. This 49 second clip has so much potential. It’s incredible.
i keep coming back to this; doom's eyes slowly panning over to the hot dogs at 0:09 combined with the bg music cutting out before the drop gets me every time
@@Success3012A r/woosh MM..FOOD is the name of one of MF DOOM's albums, in fact it's the album that the instrumental in this video is from. (One Beer, his top song.) It's also an anagram of MF DOOM.
Yeah that's where the inspiration came from. He uses tons of audio clips from Dr. Doom in his songs but his persona really started to come into its own with the animated music video for All Caps.
this is a top contender for the best video on youtube the terrible ass rhymes, the perfect AI MF DOOM voice, the fact that it actually kind of sounds like a fucking doom song, the ridiculous fucking plot, the very premise of slenderman invading your home to do nothing more malicious than cook a couple hot dogs as MF DOOM raps at him in an attempt to get him to leave, all perfected by the goofiest most intricate goddamn doodle animation video edited to look like a real ass music video. i seriously cannot stop watching it. if i could like this 10,000 times i would. absolute cinema
HAHAHAH I LOVE IT!!!! I showed the "this is MF DOOM" meme to my little brother who isn't really in to hiphop or anything like that, but he loves the meme's lyrics and style. gotta show this to him. thank you!
what most people don’t realize is this is a true story, mf doom really did catch the slender man in his kitchen, and simply just tossed him out, slender man was powerless up against mf doom and his rhymes
I have never heard *MF DOOM* before, so this is my only experience, and I intend to keep it that way, because I feel like there is no way to top this, and anything else will seem like a disappointment.
If you don't plan to look into him more you should totally watch the DHMIS x MF DOOM tribute -- that video makes the song really accessible, it has great animation which is close to the wavelength of DOOM's persona and the track itself is insane
Look up Dierdre by the beach boys it's where the sample originated. It's used in lots of video games too like fighting amalgams from undertale but it's mostly known from Earthbound in tracks like "Gyges's theme" and also "The Place"
for the ones talking about how the lyrics could have been better and have no idea. the original video was made by "butchykid" a youtuber who makes a bunch of parody videos of creepy cryptids and makes jokes about finding bigfoot and they are pretty funny. wish the uploader linked the dudes account. maybe in the future.
You see Gordon, the trick is to pet the head crabs in your vents out, then walk outside for an hour or two, and when you come back in, the home intruder is dead!… kinda.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ROrfRKUP4O8.htmlsi=IYZjm5NnFs3boaAh the original original version (no MF DOOM but still good). Almost forgot all caps
