Thank you so much for uploading this!!! Been a huge fan for ages. It's such a stupid thing the fanboy over but the Perfect Moment cover has been one of the most iconic photos that I can remember from my childhood, seeing it in color is wild. Absolute legend, our Martine!
It was a mistake for her to leave Eastenders IMO. Apart from that supporting role in Love Actually and a couple of pop hits, she never achieved the same impact as playing Tiffany.
@Messylin I'm sorry but I think you'll find that me and everyone disagree with you, I'm glad Martine left Eastenders when she did and launched a pop career which was more successful than her stint on Eastenders, infact her biggest mistake was going into Eastenders in the first place and now that her character is few there's no point in you moaning about it so I'm sorry but move on and get over it.
@BLTKellys Excuse me but what you said is absolutely wrong and puts you in the minority, throughout her pop career she has released 4 albums, and her pop career has been more successful than her time on Eastenders, she should never have been on the soap in the first place, best decision to have her character killed off, so I'm sorry but move on and get over it.
@@BLTKellys Look, face the fact, if Martine didn't left Eastenders when she did, she wouldn't have released some of our favourite songs recorded by her, there would be no Perfect Moment, no I Got You, no Love Me and Talking in Your Sleep, no I'm Over You and no On the Radio, her main ambition as you see in the first minutes of this documentary was always to do music and I'm so glad she did that and happy that she left Eastenders when she did.
@@DeepScreenAnalysis I would say both artists have copyrights Edyta and Martine to this song. Edyta also singing it from time to time in one of her concerts. You can check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2yoTdHGBFKQ.html
I think she was quite deluded that she would become a massive star. When you look at the success of Adele having come from the same background, maybe Martine’s ambition wasn’t far fetched, but her singing was really from an older era of showbiz and not really contemporary to people.
@@meridian2000they were talking about success, not talent. And Adele is literally many times more successful in her music career than Martine. But, Adele is many times more successful than 99% of any artist of the last 30 years, so it's not a fair comparison.
@@Irishgui83it’s because Adele sings Black American Music genre which has become the most popular form. Martine’s genre is outdated but she could not have anticipated this in 1999.
