I would love a Dine Out lets play with the mod. For the roof thing, I think James can take credit for all the roof options we have now. If he hadn't pointed out the bug so long ago, they might have never come up with the work around roof options. I have a feeling the options were easier than fixing the roof to start with. lol I wonder how many of the tips and tricks are things James actually did first? I still love the lake house, but Hazel's is my fav.

Would you consider reworking some of your SimSupply builds and revamp and reload them into JTYT? Give them a good update with the packs that can complete your ideas. For the lake house I see the roof having the solar panels, and a working lake around it with a fishing spot somewhere. But seeing you play with all the tools you wanted back then would be fun to see.

I enjoy watching James more than any other Simmer and it was fun doing his Industrial shell build. The Fixer upper inspired me to create those three houses in a row. Thank you James and of course Deli for all your videos all year through they are so enjoyable.

Love you videos! I would like to comment on looking back at your old builds they look very inspired by Sims 3 designs and possible Sims 2, but then as you progress to your recent builds, and more build tools and items come available in the 4th game, it has really evolved into its own thing! Love it!

You mentioned how much you must have been into TVs because there are so many in your build. My husband and I were musing the other day about how we and everybody else had TVs in practically every room. With the advent of the smart phone, now most of us view television content on our devices. We now only have one TV in the bar area of our kitchen and its not even very big. Funny how things change.

Would love to see 'comparrison builds' on some of these like for example you build the lake house from scratch with all the sims 4 updates and new packs and then compare it to the original build and see the difference.

Video Suggestion: Maybe you could do one that's a look back at TS1, TS2 and TS3 and all the things that are in that are in all 3 of those, but are not in TS4. Spiral stairs, dog houses, pool slides, proper diving boards, pool tables, pinball machines, burglars, etc. Oh, don't forget Reginald Bigwallett needs to continue to write books about his family. For Brodie, I'm still going to suggest the book be called the Vampire and the Alien Abduction, with the description being The story of Brodie Bigwallet Vatore. Maybe Reginald and Kevin will be the one time you escape the aliens. Oh, and don't forget to age up their dog to adult.

That roof issue is one of the main reasons I quit playing back when I did. So many of my early builds used windows or arches so I could have lofted areas, and I just hated the compromise. I loved to build, and there was no way to make open areas on the top floor. After a couple years of playing and it still wasn't fixed (along with a LONG list of other things - auto railings wrapping around the stairs so they weren't usable, backsplash on kitchen counters acting weird when the counter wasn't against a wall), the lack of creative tools like platforms and terrain tools, I just gave up hope on the game ever being fixed. After they gave us Newcrest I had thought they really cared about builders and would fix this stuff, but no. I remember being so proud of myself for making 'sunken' rooms by removing the floor on foundation houses. But then you could only use some foundations so it didn't look weird, and furniture acted weird, and you couldn't place things like fireplaces or appliances against them, so you were really limited in what you could actually do with those rooms. I used fountain tool and MOO to try to make streams. SO many of my early builds have these really ugly, horrible 'streams' going through the yards.

I have the art deco High School in my 'not so Berry' save and I love it! So pretty and much more functional. I also have your Police station in the same save, but that one had a couple of gameplay - function issues. No biggie though. Love playing with it!
