Another minor tarot cloth mistake right after this was not using the stars card to enter the item room. Doing so makes it a choice between two pedestals.
@@animeloveer97 The "Tarot Cloth" item doubles the effects of some cards but since you can't really double teleporting to the shop so they added that effect.
If you hate Greed replacing shops, you can get the Hallway Greed mod, which basically makes a door appear on the opposite side of the room during the Greed fight. Killing greed unlocks the door, which leads to the shop. good compromise between having to fight greed, and being able to shop
its a bit overpowered from my experiences, you fight greed and get a ton of money typically, which leads into your shop, it turns the risk of finding greed in your shop into a reward as opposed to getting the money for the next floor (also with the tarot cloth hermit card you get double shops
I like seeing the Epiphany mod in your runs. Sure some of the items are a bit overpowered (looking at you blighted die), but they're cool and they don't feel out of place at all. Story cube is an item I would want in base Isaac.
Epiphany is this kind of mod that is literally looks great in Isaac tho. Like, you cant add Fiend Folio into repentance and be like "This is also Isaac", but you can do this with Epiphany I think..
(sry for my english) here some advices for searching the ultra secret room. Never look next to a cursed room. Try to look in gaps between TWO rooms (like if you were searching for the secret room, but instead of looking for gaps between 3 rooms, this one is between only 2). For example, min 3:38 i would try next to the room with the blood machine, bc the gap is between 2 rooms. And of course, if you have plenty gaps like the one i mention, check if those gaps are accesable with red key or cracked key. PD: i love your videos

I don’t know when, but I ended up making it a ritual to watch your videos when I’m going to bed.. the videos are amazing and I always end up curious on what gamebreaking you have in store for the night..
7:17 You could have used Book Of Shadows in the arcade, leave the troll bombs there and leave before they explode, take the Story Cube and turn those bombs into pickups too
nice run, though i was slightly disappointed at blighted die being left behind for Mega Mush as I'd find it's effect and damage boost pretty boring when compared to the item choice and control offered by blighted die.

If runs are getting more and more samey maybe adding a couple more mods would help? Pretty much any mod by Agent Cucco is a banger, and of course you've got obvious picks like Fiend Folio. Or you could focus a few episodes on getting the last unlocks you need. That would spice things up a bit
I have an idea for a thumbnail about that lost run you talked about. It is a stupid idea but I found it funny lol Just put the lost in the left side and the absurd damage stat at the other side, with the title being "can we get much higher" (you can ever put a little Whitebeard's mustache to the lost lol) I don't know if an idea like this can be useful as a thumbnail but I'll leave it here. Nice video btw
Ultra secret rooms spawn diagonally from special rooms and can't be adjacent to a regular room, so you should use red keys on spaces with access to two diagonal spaces that arent connected to the main map
Hey Lavancas! If you're enjoying Epiphany, I'd reccomend trying out some other mods to spice up your runs! Fiend Folio would be my personal reccomendation.
tbh i dont watch the videos because of 4x brimstone or other crazy item combos, i watch them because i want to watch a lavencas isaac video in the morning, even if its just a 'regular' youtubers luck run :)
Video title for lost run should be “Do you think I have enough damage?” Have the lost there with some item being obvious from appearance and put a damage stat if 800 there for the thumbnail

Trinity shield is REALLY good, you(as in the playerbase in general tbh)just never realize when it blocks shots. That item makes the mother fight so much easier it’s not even funny
Video series idea: Pick some items that are unloved and picked on and try to get some runs where they become the star. Show us the successes OR the failed attempts or both.
