well, ever since I started bowling again from a 15 year hiatus the moment I came across your channel. U2 are such inspirational individuals and you got me started same with all the other PBA bowlers and I’m still getting to know everything, but I would say right now U2 are strong. U2 are only human you can do can only do your best, but just keep on striving, I know that you two are going to get there when you are determined I’m rooting for you 100%❤❤❤❤
With respect and admiration, As contractors, it's got to be spelled out in writing before you put foot to pavement. Early contract termination agreements keeps everyone, including the contractor, honest. There is no emotion about it. Business is business. There to promote the life you want to live. To each other, you are your one and only best friend. That said, here is the hard part- everyone else is just someone you know. Learning and living this is sometimes very painful. But, worth it! Particularly in terms of business. You're in my prayers. -Bob.
Totally bummed you guys could get the situation worked out. I don't know the inside details and I know there is always that stuff, but sad to see you guys leave. Hopefully you will get a new place to teach a new crop of student athletes.
I don't know, nor is it my business to know, why both of you have experienced job issues with your past two universities, as you mentioned. All I can suggest, which I am sure you have already considered, is to reach out to other, more experienced college coaches, such as the O'Keefes, and the recently-retired Gordon Vadakin. Del and CDB would also probably be excellent resources. As a business person, I hope that if you didn't, to get everything that is promised to you in writing, in a legally enforceable contract. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors!
Really sucks the LMU couldnt do a better job. Seems like there was communication problem and it wasnt dealt with correctly. Hopefully everything will workout for the better in the end.
Not sure what happened but we are living in an era where jobs are perceived as a processing mill, and employees and students are just widgets being processed to generate $$. In this kind of climate nobody gets to settle down and get comfortable and its difficult to grow a program as the rug gets pulled out sabotaging itself year after year. So that means you have to protect yourself. If they can't offer you a contract that covers an early termination and or moving costs, then they aren't serious about keeping you and growing a program, and you as well as others are just grist for the mill. Next job offer, hire a lawyer to check over your contract.
No offense because I dont know the situation but I am so confused right now. It's like listening to one side of a phone call. I would delete this because people that know, know. and people that dont get nothing from this update.
I don't know but what I took from it was they're are no longer going to be coaching students at a school anymore. I think it was pretty clear and cut honestly they explained everything if you watch the full video
@@NateandElise the negative comments about deleting these sort of videos comes from fans who project cowardice, in my opinion. But for me it’s the honest reflection you two do as a couple that sets this channel apart from any other bowling content. Bowling life isn’t just about going to tournaments, making or missing cuts. You both show us another side. And again… having met you both personally it’s not just watching some random celebrities. It didn’t matter that I know very little of what happened. I appreciate you both for sharing yourselves on YT, both the good and bad! Keep right on going!
Not a fan of the way you threw LMU under the bus for their shortcomings, that program has been through A LOT. However, I have a friend who's son was a senior there the year all the stuff that went down with JS. and as the father of a kid going to a program next year, it's nice to hear young people talk like this because it gives me comfort. I have a ton of respect for that. Good luck!
I do not get from this video that they ‘threw LMU under the bus.’ I hear respect, tact and honesty. I hear people that want to share their side of the story. I feel it is a story in many ways bowling has suffered with over generations: ergo my own struggles in contract negotiations with both AMF and Brunswick back in the day. Hugs your way guys. Things happen for a reason….you just ate in the eye of the storm.
