Thanks for the update. I enjoy both your styles of video, both long form and the shorter deep dives. A lack of time to sit and watch a longer video in one go, however, means that I dip in and out of them over a couple of days; which probably screws up your metrics royally!

I don't mind two channels. I often follow a channel both for the content but the presenter is very important too and I really enjoy both on your channel. Hopefully RU-vid will recommend both channels to me going forward.

'Storm Of Chaos' was great IMO. Way better than what came later. And it became the basis for the 2nd edition of the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay setting in which I've run a number of campaigns.

Oooooh! That rings a nostalgia bell. I think my younger brother and I played one of those events at the local games workshop. He played orcs, I played a unit of bretonnian knights and their duke. Can’t wait to hear all about it (while I paint up some Old World knights)

I hope this Channel flourishes and that it never loses its Charm. ❤ Not sure if you’ve covered it but I would love to see a deep dive into the History of Undead, of the Lichemaster, Nagash and Drachenfels and how those Liches bounced off each other in the development.

Oh nice! I was getting ready to ask if you had considered doing an in-world review of the events of some of these narrative events, and here it is, being confirmed. :) I love the real world story behind the products, but I do also love ArbitorIans in-world histories of the events of HH/40k, and want a Fantasy equivalent.

Storm of Chaos will be great videos, looking forward! Yet I wonder, what about “The history of WHFB 8th edition”? That series is still unfinished :) And if I may offer a wish: I would LOVE if you would Cover Tamurkhan: Throne of Chaos in your unique style! It’s such a beautiful book with such an interesting story around it. And it would even fit in with your Marienburg interest! Pretty please.

Storm of chaos was the peak of my warhammer hobby involvement before I had a hiatus when I went into uni. I started collecting a cult of slaanesh dark elves army. Such a cool set up. I lost touch with fantasy after 6th but I do think it’s a shame they didn’t continue the narrative instead of a big reset, I’m sure it contributed to the eventual end times.

Storm of Chaos was peak era, the second ed WHFRP supplements helped me ignore the 'canon' since they detailed the Empire post-Storm pretty well alongside a few novels. It's a shame that a desperate skirmish game in that grim period for the Empire was never established...

I remembered being so hyoes for Storm of Chaos and then disappointed with how it ended. I think that it was my first disillusion with Warhammer.

Storm of Chaos is the more palatable setting development l, especially in light of what came after. In game it is the story of a chaos invasion that went on despite the chaos side losing EVERY SINGLE DAY it was played. In the narrative the problem with SoC is that stuff happens without apparent justification (giant waaaaghs appearing and disappearing at n a whim…) and interesting story developments going nowhere (Mannfred Von Carsten taking official control of Sylvania, Dwarves recapturing lost holds, Hogh Elves decimating Norsca…). Fun fact: WHFRPG 2E actually takes place in the aftermath of SoC. at the time many veteran platform 1E were quite mad about it (I wasn’t and I had quite a few heated debates on the Strike to Stun forums)… little did they know about the utter and total mess GW was going to do by discarding SoC…

We don't have the analytics insights you do, so have to believe you know what you are doing! I hope it works out for you. I have to say I came to look for the Peachy interview, and when I didn't see it, I went off to do something else. Wasn't until later in the day that I saw this video. Definitely concerned that your long form stuff will get short thrift. Don't want to be Debby Downer, but figure you'd want to hear all the perspectives. You may need to hammer it in all your videos, and make regular Community Notes when you make long form stuff directing ppl to go over to that channel.

the algorithm is just so terrible. the internet is such a "personality"-led interface and yet youtube expects hyper-specialization, even within a specific topic. you can't even be a general games workshop-focused channel, you have to be a lore channel or a painting channel or a gameplay channel. heaven help you if you have multiple hobbies/interests! sorry for the mini-rant in your comments, jordan, i'm sure you're just as frustrated as me, if not more!
