@@chiscore ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HvLfQSoVhrM.html It's not really cannon and more of a parody of Evangelion done by the original Japanese cast. There is a great part where they do a parody of Super Sentai (aka Power Rangers) and she introduces Kaworu as "Nassisistic and Homosexual Sentai Black!"
@@tfgmoe Wait, do you not know about the Qworu timeline theory yet? Because it's insane. Continue reading but potential spoilers: But it's essentially the theory that, due to the mangas and other games confirming it. That Kaworu knows that he's in a time loop during the Rebuild and EoE much like Rei he's transcended time and space. In the manga, which is the proposed first timeline, he is way more blunt and rude to Shinji, but still ends up kissing him, not understanding jokes, not understanding boundaries, etc. Then in the later NGE anime it's proposed that he already knows he's going to die. And the Rebuilds, being the proposed 3rd timeline, is about how he already knows that in each timeline he's going to die, but instead decides to take his death within his own hands, thus deciding to put the collar on himself instead of forcing Shinji to kill him directly, mostly to spare his emotions and to make sure he understands that it was, in fact, the others who attempted to kill Shinji. (They set off the bomb without knowing that Kaworu was wearing it, meaning they thought they were executing Shinji in this scene). This is explained by a few quotes: "*This time*, I'll bring you happiness Shinji Ikari," in 2.0 (iirc) which means not only does he know who he is, but he knows that he's invested in him emotionally. This is why he says, "We'll meet again," and "I knew I was meant to meet you." Which parallels and expands upon this line in NGE, "I *think* I was meant to meet you," meaning he's acting as if he *thought* this before, but now he knows it to be true. This implies that he remembers the conversation they had together in NGE in his room. Another part of the theory is the moon when Rei 2 (not ReiQ) ends up creating a time paradox in EoE when she bleeds on the moon. Keep in mind the blood on the moon is there in the movies without the existence of LilliRei. Meaning that this blood either came LilliRei and the Rebuilds are literally a genesis moment (the rapture and recreation of the world after EOE), or something else created the exact same effect on the moon. Another thing that has to be recognized is that in NGE it's stated the moon was created when Lillith fell down to the earth. Meaning that in the theory Qworu being on the moon is seen as a type of time remnant from all of the timelines. Kaworu wakes up from a coffin, where 2 lay before him, proposed to be the coffins he hopped out of in the manga (1st timeline), the show(2nd timeline), and he climbs out of the third one(rebuilds). Meaning that there might've been some time fucky wucky things going on that created a sort of time remnant on the moon that allowed it's life to continue to exist after EoE reset the world, meaning that the rebuilds are the reset world, but the moon stayed the same, and by that effect, so did Adam and Lilith's souls. Meaning that the existence of Kaworu and Rei, due to not being a part of this Genesis, were able to develop separately from that and remember the events of the anime. This is also repeated during the idea of thrice upon a time. The name of the new movie. The name came from a novel that was all about people in an apocalypse attempting to send messages to the past to warn them about the future. Spoilers and theories suggest that the idea is that Kaworu's multitude of attempts is him sending messages to himself in the past, or that Eva 3.0+1.0 is going to end with the character pulling a "Rogue One" and dying to send a message to their NGE selves (or their 1.0 selves) about the true plans of the third impact and SEELE. Which is insane but completely works in this situation.
i remember describing his voice as “sounding like a british person without the actual accent” just like with the intonations and emphasis of how a british person speaks
I’ll say this for Kaworu. He was there for Shinji the only friend to treat him with compassion compared to everyone treating him like garbage. It’s no surprise he piloted unit 13 because Kaworu gave him hope and encouragement along with patience and understanding. That’s more than what Misato did in the first half of the series. I understand she had trauma of her own and when she looked at Shinji, it’s similar to the saying looking at oneself in the mirror, or kinship, either way she shows compassion for which is what he ultimately needed. It’s, why I hate the ending for 3.0 + 1.0 she didn’t apologize nor explained herself gave a hug ( which was nice to see finally) , but she ended up sacrificing herself as recompense? That’s stupid writing, just have one the jerks do it instead not the one with two sons to look after one more than the other one.
Me like Evangelion 3.33 He is......... calm, when watching, I feel calm and despair, as if everything in their world froze forever, but no, what will happen next we will find out in Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0
This episode...I cannot watch it ever again. My best friend committed suicide not too long after I saw End of Evangelion at only age 16. He seemed so happy in the pictures he sent. I cannot imagine how he could ever have forsaken his own life. This episode right here makes me wonder if I’ve hurt him somehow. If I’m somehow responsible for his death...
