You guys are funny. This another derivative of House music. It is not Amapiano. Amapiano was derived from House music prevalent in the 80's and early 90's. You still hear it in the club scenes in the mix. It helped drive away Disco. When SA started claiming Amapiano as their cultural creation people did not want to argue about it since SA was busy dealing with the apartheid to understand that Amapiano wasnothing new as such but a derivative of House music that took over the club scenes all over the world after the demise of Disco.

The reason why you have so many views with less subscriptions is because you taking away what South Africans built from years without support and giving it to Nigerians because their sound is already popular worldwide. Amapiano is just getting there. So people who don't understand it yet will classify it as Afro beats because it has Nigerian artists taking advantage of it
