When i lived in tulsa this same thing happened to me. Poison Ivy and I blew up. I was told not to sweat because that makes it spread. Who the heck doesn't sweat in Oklahoma in the summer, really? LOL!!!!

Rest up, take it from me recovering from pneumonia & pushed myself to go back to work early & ended up flat out again. Ps we don’t get poison Ivy in Australia just stinging nettle, could there be fibres in Jason’s hat or clothes prolonging the exposure?

Getting hot definitely makes it worse. Try ice baths. Or soak a hand towel in ice water and lay over face

Use dish soap on the rash to wash. It takes away the oils and gives huge relief. It dries it right up. I swear!

You need to get some FELS-NAPTHA soap. Shred it up, as its a bar soap. Wash your clothes in it, as it will come back if you don't. Bedding and all You should be able to get it at Walmart or any grocery store. Its in the laundry area. It works great.

Try putting a ICE COLD rag over your FACE Jason. Have a bowl of ice in with some water, put a rag in it, then over your face. Do this a couple of times.

Jason and Danielle please take time off for awhile and stay out of the heat, the only things that need taken care of now are these animals. Your subs will still be here when you get back, I noticed that a lot of RU-vid big channels have cut back on their videos in this heat and can do that now that they they have a lot of subs you guys can also. You guys are one of my favorite RU-vid channel that can do that and not give up because you have become like friends to me. I had the same thing happen trimming bushes. I smeared that stuff all over my body from sweating by the end of the day. I feel your pain.

I had poidon ivy, put benadryl on it then got sun burn.... not a good out come.

I got it worse than that. I was hot and sweaty and I was burning it. My whole body was weeping histamines. Hey DanYell PSA?

Hey Jason, sometimes we have to think of our health first. I know it's hard because I just got off 6 weeks' recovery on my back surgery, just getting to walk. I couldn't even pull trash bag out & carry to put in big trash can that suck & put me behind on splitting wood but now a 100% & ready to go. GB, y'all stay safe & take care of yourself. 😊

Remember!!!!.....Leaves of three...Leave it be!!!! Also if you have a good health food store in Tulsa you might be able to pick up some jewel weed salve which is great and I might add that if you can find some old fashioned lye soap it will help dry up the poison ivy on your body. These are some old fashioned cures that work.

Man you look miserable even your nose is swollen. I was working in my back yard putting up T posts and fencing in my back yard garden - I thought of you when I grabbed a pile of weeds to throw them out in the woods and afterward realized one of the plants was “leaves of 3 leave them be” - I was panicking that I would end up like you but for some reason it didn’t hurt me - I had gloves on but it all brushed up against my arms. Thankfully no problems here whew. Hope you get well soon you needed to have some chillax time this was God’s way of stopping you LOL 😊

I’m a man of faith; so with that being said: if you won’t take some time off to rest and to enjoy life a little. The Lord above will give it to you. Something to think about.

Jason you should try this: Use calamine lotion or hydrocortisone cream. Calamine lotion can reduce the itch. If you have a mild case, a hydrocortisone cream or lotion is another treatment that can alleviate the itch.

It's weird how some people are affected & others aren't. My brother used to play in a big field of it when we were kids & he'd never ever have a reaction.
