It honestly just depends on your art style. The first version is great for something more cartoony! This video’s demonstrating something a bit more realistic.
That was exactly the point of my comment? The video was telling artists to draw eyebrows the way they were doing it and I wanted to express a better way in my opinion. Draw it however you want man
Yeah I'm sure this works fine with pencils but I paint (digitally) and it's never looked good when I do this, I paint with big angular shapes and when I do the eyebrows like this it looks too detailed compared to everything else
First of all, wow, psycho sounds great in the background (seriously, the instrumental was amazing) Second of all, THIS is just what I needed. The only good thing I can really draw is eyes but when I started doing eyebrows recently, it went straight or down and was all weird. This definitely helped, especially since this style is like how I'm learning to draw rn!
I personally do a mix of the two: I draw the basic shape, then fill it in. Afterwards I add the individual hairs to the inner edge and a few throughout the rest! It works really well with semi-realistic styles
I think it just depends on the art style the person uses. And for each person, the art style is different. What you may consider "the perfect eyebrow" and "this is the way people should do it" may not be their way. Please be aware of that
also dont forget that eyebrow hairs dont just start at the bottom and go up, they're all though out the eyebrow- just lined up to the side in order to make that shape
your way of making eyebrow is to much good one day I will good at making face portrait only because of you at that time I will say thankyou that I get my desiered result 🤗
Can we all just take a moment to appreciate this comment section? Like how 1/3 is people saying they appreciate it, 1/3 is asking how to do the other eyebrow, and the final 1/3 is only talking about Psycho by Red Velvet playing in the background. ❤😂
Honestly it's about ur style both are good but most ppl including me like to draw the shape and fill it in and sometimes add a strand or two to make it look natural and the second one is mostly used by artists that practice realism so it about preference and style 😐😐
