Hi! When I heard this song, it absolutely became my favorite! The melody and mood are perfection. Thank you for your amazing soundtrack! Just curious, compared to the 1998 orchestra you made previously, what differences did you make? I can definitely feel there are some differences between the two versions but can’t tell specifically. Which one do you prefer?

Hi, thank you so so much for the kind words! So, this orchestration is based on the 2007 reorchestration that David Cullen and JRB did for the London production. It is a reduced version, down to 9 players vs. the 1998 Broadway version which had a full orchestra of about 20 players with doubling, etc. I will always prefer a larger, more lush orchestration, but what they were able to do with 9 musicians is still so great!

Hi Nathan!! Thank you so much 😀 You know, someone else asked me the same question…it’s definitely something I’d consider. My ultimate goal is to finish the whole show. But, working on a complex, 2 act musical is tough and does require funding which is hard to come by. If you’re ever in need of a track, I do take commissions - and even purchasing from my website or engaging with my videos can be a big help in the long run. Hope that answered your question!
