I would get some plastic baby pools or tubs so animals can cool off in this hot weather. Misters or a sprinkler would work too. Chickens need flat pans of water to stand in as they cool off by their feet. Misters work well for them also. Stay cool. 😘

Stephanie, I was getting scared when Princess Liehla wasn't moving and I couldn't see her breathing. I kept my eyes glued to her and as soon as you turned your back she started moving to get up. Just like a child.

Still say get some baby pools for all the animals all of them the dogs the goats the chickens lauderhills you have I need a lot of water as soon as you guys do I still don't understand why you have the chickens water sitting out in the 100° temperature and expect them to drink hot water all the time put them some water in their pan

Unfortunately if you don’t work with the baby donkey you won’t ever be able to touch him and he will grow up to be wild and unmanageable like the wild ponies were. ❤ god bless!

I've seen misters for birds on Cog Hill Farms that help them! They set them on timers. Might keep more from heat stroke😊

Maybe put a fan in the barn for thd animals if there going in there is so hot heard wella are drying up in Texas and sprinkle system like you used to have and a pool again for them they liked it last year sorry about the lose of the turkey abd the rooster s some darmer put larger lower size bowl ,in chicken pens they like standing in the water when it's so hot sence hurt ankle stayed home today, Hope you all enjoyed the 4th wished I had a pool even smaller than your would be great on my bucket list but city waters so expensive here anyway

Oh be very careful about dogs getting in trash bags my daughters huge mellow Doberman got in there's and ended up passing away he flip his stomach trying to heve it farm are so much work and yes it's never done ,I never had as many animals as you do but worked on horse home stead many many horses your blessed hubby and kids help with all stuff needed

Stephanie you need to get a bunch of those clips you use on the chickens pens and use them also to lock your gates shut. It would be easier than always undoing the wires and you’ll have them longer.

I make a willow for my birds it isn’t deep or anything. But they stand in it and cool off under a tree . I also been giving them cold cabbage, watermelon, anything to cool them down. But I don’t have as many chickens you all have . It’s a lot of work keeping them happy and healthy. You your hubs and kiddos are pretty cool peeps .
